Two Rivers Veterinary Practice provides comprehensive veterinary services in and around Biggar in South Lanarkshire and Peebles in the Scottish Borders. We are a three vet mixed practice providing treatment for all animals including dogs, cats, horses, farm animals, rabbits and other small animals.

We have an excellent range of medical and surgical facilities, with a 24 hour emergency service. Our three vets are friendly and welcoming, and together with our team of qualified veterinary nurses and reception staff, we aim to provide the best possible care for our clients and their animals. Two Rivers Veterinary Practice is owned by Trevor Black, who took over from LW Clerihew in 2005 and changed the name to Two Rivers Vets in 2006.
Services
Originally from Belfast, I qualified from the University of Glasgow Veterinary School in 1998. I began my career in Cockermouth, Cumbria, working for two years in a busy mixed practice. Following this I travelled the country doing locum work for a further two years, gaining experience in a wide variety of types of practice.
Unlike many other veterinary practices, the out-of-hours service at Two Rivers Vets is provided by the same vets that work in the practice during the day. Your telephone call will be diverted to the vet on call, and will be answered in person by Trevor, David or Kirsty. If they are busy dealing with another emergency, please leave a message and contact telephone number and they will return the call very shortly.
Two Rivers Veterinary Practice displays a list of charges for consultations, vaccinations, microchipping, common blood tests, routine surgical procedures and dental treatments in the waiting room. If you have any questions about our charges for routine procedures please telephone the surgery and we will be happy to advise you.

Max and I weā€™re given time before and after he was very peacefully put to sleep.. all staff were so respectful and professional, I have no hesitation in recommending this veterinary practice .. they are amazing.. thank you

First time using this practice and found David Campbell to be one of the most caring vets I have come across and would highly recommend their service. Wishing so much that I had found them before this Thank you

One of the reasons I chose this veterinary practice was because of all the wonderful reviews they have received.
I picked up my pets ashes, from past experience the price charged I wrongfully assumed it would arrive in a wooden box especially as the only option I was given at the time was to take the body home with me and had to ask if they offered cremation services, the only discussion being that there was a backlog and would be approximately a 3 weeks wait.
When I got home I found the ashes were contained in a cheap cardboard tube which was poorly assembled and had substantially leaked through

Wonderful vet practice, picked us up in our time of need when let down by our previous vet in Lanark. Have now moved there permanently.
