Clyde Vet Group
We aim to provide best in industry standards of veterinary care - delivered by three distinct teams: small animal, farm and equine - and we were formed in 2003 with exactly this in mind. This allows us to focus on exactly what our clients and their animals need, and to train our teams to the highest standards.

From our hospital in Lanark, to our sites in Stirling, Lesmahagow and Wishaw we aim to advance veterinary standards while providing you with a friendly, compassionate service. Big thank you to Iain who bravely came out from Kirkliston to Avonbridge during the red warning yesterday to tend to my sick goat.
Services
Clyde Veterinary Group was formed in 2003 to provide best in industry standards of veterinary care, delivered by three distinct teams: small animal, farm and equine. This allows us to focus on exactly what our clients and their animals need, and to train our teams to the highest standards. We have purpose built premises at Lanark Market, a site that we have extended and developed three times since.
At Clyde Vet Group, our dedicated small animal, large animal and equine teams have developed a depth of knowledge and expertise within their field which allows them to provide your animals with the greatest possible standard of care. We provide our own emergency out of hours service, making sure that every animal has access to a vet you know and trust when you need it most.
Our dedicated and passionate small animal team treat each and every pet like one of our own. We provide the highest standard of care for our patients in our hospital in Lanark and branch practices in Wishaw and Lesmahagow. We are committed to the growth and development of our team and staff are encouraged to follow areas of interest with further qualifications.
Lynne graduated from Glasgow Vet School in 2007 and worked for five years in mixed practice in Chesire before moving back to her roots in Lanarkshire to join the Clyde team in 2013. While she enjoys all aspects of small animal practice she is particularly interested in internal medicine and cardiology.
Our 14 dedicated farm vets have over 180 years of experience between them, giving us both a wide knowledge base and a range of specific skills and interests across all areas of farm practice. On top of this we care about you as a farmer and your business, and we do everything we can to provide an approachable and enthusiastic service to all of our clients.

Excellent vet. Took really good care of my old boy Tyson. Unfortunately in the end there was nothing more we could do for him. The vet was really helpful and reassuring. Talked us through everything that would happen. They were even understanding when I cancelled an appointment last minute as I had a change of heart. Would use this vet again in a heartbeat. Very thorough and actually care about your pet. Also really grateful to the vet in lanark that took care of Tyson on his last day, appreciate everything you all did.

I can't recommend this vets enough. I called today about my sick hamster and I got an appointment 20 mins later. Even tho my lil Gucci didn't survive as he was sick and old, the staff here were lovely caring and polite. I would definitely use the service again

I have came to this vets for a few years now and I have to say they are great and I would recommend this vets to anybody 99% of their staff deserve enormous credit for how kind caring friendly and understanding they are however my last visit to them left a very bitter taste in my mouth a cat I cared for was really unwell and eventually had to be put to sleep the problem was with one of their staff. I booked and emergency appointment and when I arrived as usual I followed their procedures to the letter I phoned when I was outside once I got inside not once but twice a member of staff accused me

. On Wednesday i had blue to the vet as he wasnt his usual self. Running after us barking etc we noticed a big difference in him. We wer told that "the vet" had checked him all over and it was his teeth bothering him. He needed a scale n polish and teeth out costing £288. We came away with antibiotics and steroids. So over the weekend he doesnt get any better so i phoned the emergency vet as he was very weak in sunday to be told there want any cause for concern when the " vet" checked him over on wed but if we wanted to take him to lanark that night it would cost £128 just to see him or wait

As soon as we got our wee kitten Skye, we registered with this practice, which I can confidently recommend. The practice is spotlessly clean and the staff is amazing. They genuinely care about the welfare of your pet. The member of staff we have dealt with recently is Lindsay who is absolutely brilliant (as is all the staff, I hasten to add). Skye recently got neutered and chipped and the op was very much a success with first class aftercare. Pleased with the costs too.

If I could give it zero stars I would. We took sister's dog in on the Monday morning before going to the caravan as she wasn't eating. They gave her a thorough examination and said it was her teeth that was the problem. Next morning she was worse and took her to a vet near the caravan, a quick examination and they said there was something in her lungs and they were full of fluid, after an x-ray we found her to be full of tumors and had to have the wee soul put to sleep.
