We are a Tier 2 Accredited Practice under the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Practice Standards Scheme. The team provides a friendly service covering all aspects of veterinary surgery and medicine (vaccinations, routine and emergency surgery, medical investigations, dietary advice, dental work to give a few examples). All the team at the practice are pet owners themselves and know how much a part of the family a pet is to their owner.
Services
Once issued the passport lasts 3 years from date of vaccination and providing repeat rabies vaccination is carried out before this date the passport carries on. However, if you go past this date then the whole process has to be started again with the exception of microchipping. 2. Requirement for tapeworm treatment on re-entry to UK is 1 to 5 days before returning to the UK (only applies only to dogs).
We believe that nutrition is an important part of keeping pets healthy and can also play a vital part in the treatment of some illnesses. This is why we stock a select range of cat and dog pet food in practice, helping to take the faff out of pet food for our clients by recommending diets that have been scientifically created to provide optimal nutrition, which tastes great!

One bad experience with a very unprofessional, rude vet with an attitude. I won't be back after 15 years as a customer.
Immaculately clean inside, very welcoming reception, vets have always been informative and helpful in the past. The prices are ridiculous since Dr Tague left. Couldn't be more disappointed

We have entrusted Mara Binning and all the excellent staff at Shedden Vets to care for our pets for almost 12 years. We have always received very friendly and knowledgeable service, and our dogs don’t mind going there, so that says a lot! I would definitely recommend Shedden Vets to all pet owners. AVOID THIS VET IF YOU CARE FOR YOUR PET!!!!
I took my 2month old kitten here for her vaccinations and they messed up -had to take my kitten back and start the course of vaccinations again-putting her through distress

Took my pup Biscuit here after months of trying to find a vet he liked and he absolutely loves Ms Binning! Always such caring and friendly staff. We had him in a few weeks ago with a cut on his foot from a walk and we were in and out in no time, cleaned and bandaged. Always a pleasure to my pup here. 100% would recommend for your fur babies!
