At Hagley Primary School we work together as a community to provide a happy, secure and stimulating environment where children are motivated to learn, are valued as individuals and encouraged to reach their full potential. The new curriculum has been established well and communicated to parents on the school's website. Relationships with parents are very positive, with the vast majority who responded to Parent View saying that they would recommend the school to other parents.
Services
From today, all of the resources for each day are now going to be on one document and all answers will be in a separate document. As you can see below, these will be placed underneath the newsletter. We hope this makes things quicker and easier to find. Don't worry if you haven't got a printer, as you can write your answers on paper or notebooks that you have at home.
Today's Early Morning Task invites you to think about who you would want to swap roles with for a day. Take a look at the examples and write a few sentences explaining why you chose them. You may wish to choose somebody else to swap with. Main Activity: A series of activities for you to try at home, helping you to keep fit and active.
We know how much our children in Key Stage 2 love their French lessons. We also recognise that it is important to do lots of practice when you are learning something new. Below, Madame Wild, our French teacher, has put together some useful resources to recap the key areas of learning. We recommend that you find activities linked to areas you have already covered in French.
It is natural to feel concerned during unsettling times. We advise that you continue to reduce any anxieties that your child may experience in these exceptional circumstances. Affirmations are a great way to reaffirm positive thoughts. The affirmation should be said regularly throughout the week for the child to internalise the positive message.
Following on from our Random Acts of Kindness assembly, an optional challenge was set to create a piece of artwork linked to kindness. We have had some great pieces of work and you will find these shared in the slideshow below. Thank you to everyone who sent an image in through the office. They definitely show and promote what kindness means and are sure to put a smile on people's faces.
