Highgate Primary is a happy and successful two-form entry community school where there is great enthusiasm for learning from pupils and a highly committed and experienced staff team. Adults are referred to by their first name and we have a no-uniform policy. Music, art and whole-school performances, Mandarin and sport are all highly valued and give our children many opportunities to shine.
Our curriculum reflects our children's interests and enables all pupils to achieve standards of which we are extremely proud. We aim for all our children to move through school with confidence, good friendships and happy memories. Parents are always welcome to come and visit Highgate Primary where they can meet the children and staff and find out more about our school.

Services
Highgate Primary School began life as the British School in Southwood Lane, which had a reputation for being overcrowded. The newly formed Hornsey School Board took over the school while new premises were built on our current site. Mr Haines, headmaster at Southwood Lane, took over at North Hill becoming our first headteacher.
We are currently not accepting any bookings at school or the Family Centre until further notice. Whether it be a space for a community meeting, a well equipped room for training, or a fully catered wedding reception, Highgate Primary School has a great deal to offer as a venue. Highgate Family Centre is a beautiful purpose built building across the playground from Highgate Primary School.

Highgate Primary School is a creative, diverse and successful community school, where children love learning. We are ambitious for every child and want them to grow up to be the best they can possibly be. Although it is unclear exactly how our school will be affected, it is clear that we are likely to be facing significant cuts in real terms and we have no reserve funds to counteract the cuts.
