Holy Trinity is a small, caring, Church of England school, with a strong commitment to the teaching of Christianity alongside a multi-faith approach to the curriculum. Our vision encourages everyone in our school community to have the strength to aim high and be an agent of change. Our hope in God leads us to have high aspirations for our learning community.
We value the uniqueness of each child, made in the image of God, and seek to provide a holistic, enriched curriculum and pastoral care, empowering everyone with the strength, knowledge and wisdom to succeed and flourish.

I went into primary school teaching, as I enjoy teaching most subjects, but my passions are Art & Design and Design & Technology, especially now that I know what a motorised pulley-drive is! I create digital artwork at home, working mostly in Photoshop, though I still get the inks and paints out when I want to get messy!
Our governing body is made up of parents, staff and members of the local community. Together they are responsible for making sure the school is run well. They look at finance, the curriculum, health and safety, premises, staffing, admissions and special needs and, working with the leadership team, they decide on the school's policy for each of these areas.
How are adaptations made to the curriculum and learning environment of children with SEND?. Most children with SEND are educated with their peers in their classroom for the vast majority of the day and follow the same programme of study, which has been differentiated for them. Where a child needs to follow a highly differentiated curriculum, this will be planned for them by their teacher, in conjunction with specialist professionals.
Cognition and Learning e.g. Physical and Sensory e.g. Whilst each child's needs are unique, the above categories help the school to broadly plan provision. Some children may have needs in more than one category. At Holy Trinity we take our duties under the Equality Act 2010 seriously and we continue to implement a programme of improvements to the school building in order to make it accessible to more children.
All children are unique and their learning needs are different, whether they have SEND or not. Therefore, it is not possible to set out a definitive approach to teaching SEND. Each child will require a different approach. We aim to be as responsive to the individual's needs as possible and may use a variety of different approaches to do so.
