At Wellpets Vets we provide professional and dedicated veterinary care to achieve the highest standards of practice. Our small animal practices are located in North Somerset, Yeovil and Yetminster. Our nurses are on hand to offer free nurse clinics; they can give advice on a variety of healthcare issues. These clinics are a perfect opportunity for your new puppy or kitten to get to know the surgery and have a positive experience at the vets! Our nurses can give lots of advice on taking care of your new arrival, including feeding, vaccination, neutering, flea and worm treatments, basic training and more.
We believe that nutrition is an important part of keeping pets healthy and can also play a vital part in the treatment of some illnesses. This is why we stock a select range of cat and dog pet food in practice, helping to take the faff out of pet food for our clients by recommending diets that have been scientifically created to provide optimal nutrition, which tastes great!
We run a 4 week puppy socialisation course for our clients and their puppies here at Wellpets Clevedon. Ran by Lucy, one of our qualified veterinary nurses (RVN). Lucy has a wealth of experience with puppies, last year raising a litter of Border Collies! During the course you and your puppy will learn about the importance of socialisation, basic training commands and techniques.
