For the time being it will be restricted to one person at a time in the consultation rooms. We are very sorry to say that because of exceptional workloads we are unable to register any new pets or clients for the time being. We are doing this in order not to compromise treatment and service to existing pets and clients. The practice achieves the perfect blend of professionalism and friendliness in all their dealings with clients.
Services
We are here to look after your pets and you; we will provide the highest level of care for your pets as well as excellent personal customer service for you. One of our principles is to always do what we say - if we promise to call, we will! You will get written, tailored treatment plans designed specifically for you and your pet's needs.
We have two complete dental units, a range of specialised dental instruments and excellent quality digital dental x-ray facilities at the surgery. Along with specially trained staff involved in the dentistry, we offer highly efficient, professional and thorough dental treatment plans for your pets.
Barney in his favourite orchard. We called him our ray of sunshine as his smile brightened our day every morning when he woke up and looked at us. Our beautiful warm natured lady; she loved giving and receiving affection and really enjoyed her food. The love she felt for people was always clear; even if it was subtle at first, once she knew you she did not hold back!
We believe that nutrition is an important part of keeping pets healthy and can also play a vital part in the treatment of some illnesses. This is why we stock a select range of cat and dog pet food in practice, helping to take the faff out of pet food for our clients by recommending diets that have been scientifically created to provide optimal nutrition, which tastes great!
Babesiosis in dogs is an infection caused by the single-celled parasite Babesia. This parasite infects red blood cells, both directly damaging the cells but also causing the body's own immune cells to attack red blood cells. This leads to an anaemia which can be life threatening. The main mode of transmission is through tick bites.

They were great dealing with Tilly being a bit nervous and helped her trust them, she’s such a friendly out going dog and it’s great to see her bound in to the vets every time. Would definitely recommend them.

Even though they weren't taking on new pets I explained that my dog was not very well and did not want to leave him untreated over the Christmas period incase he got worse, and that l did not want to take him back to my old vets, as the last time they did nothing for him and shrugged their shoulders (vets for pets). Wigmore vets took on my dog the consultation fee was reasonable and the fact they took him on when they were not taking on anymore pets show they care for the animals. Thanks again wigmore vets.

I have used this practice for over 20 years. They are conveniently located for me and have on site parking. The staff are friendly to humans and animals, and always willing to accommodate any requests. It is usually fairly easy to get an appointment at a convenient time and requests for repeat medication are dealt with promptly. The only downside for me is that they are more expensive than some other local vets, however, they probably provide a better service.

Recently changed vets to here (due to previous vets unable to help our dog with recurring ear infections and their general lack of professional standards) I have nothing but praise to Wigmore vets, nurses and reception staff, everyone you meet here has a smile on their face, cares for your pet and makes you and your pet feel welcome. Your appointment is always running on time, everything is explained to you in detailed and your concerns listened to.
Our rescue dog is anxious and can be reactive in new places but from the very 1st visit she has behaved really well here PLUS her ear infections were

I've been bringing my cats here for 16 years. Always organised, professional, courteous but friendly. Even recently having to make the decision to let my cat go they were kind and patient and allowed me to be with her as long as I wanted both before and after. This is the only vets I will ever use. Thank you Wigmore.

I fully appreciate that we have to pay for things we need in life - I am not one of those people that expect freebies....but when the initial treatment has worked (which was expensive) & you take you dog back for a recommended follow-up, he was in there for quite literally 4 mins and I was charged £43 for time alone that's £645 per hour.
We will be cancelling membership and passing on our experience. You should not treat customers like this.

Duncan and his team took amazing care of Storm and Tigger. Advised on steps I need to take and were very knowledgeable. The ladies on reception were friendly, welcoming and helpful. You can definitely see the passion they all have for animals.
