We are a small animal practice in Rochester, first established in 1998. We are passionate about animal care and our skilled team of veterinarians and vet nurses are dedicated to providing the highest quality care for your animals. Because we love animals and strive to provide excellent continuity of care, we are open six days a week and have access to 24-hour emergency care.

To help keep us all safe, please do not attend the practice unless you have a pre-booked appointment, or have arranged to collect food/medication.
Services
Medway City Veterinary Centre is a purpose built, fully equipped small animal practice with a large car park to accommodate our clients and staff. We are an RCVS accredited Small Animal General Practice and veterinary nurse training centre. Our dedicated team of vets, nurses and receptionists strive to work to the highest professional and clinical standard with all of our patients and clients.
Here at Medway City Veterinary Centre, we're very proud to have so many enthusiastic and dedicated individuals working in our friendly practice. We are all passionate about animals and their well-being, from our veterinary surgeons and qualified nurses to our essential support staff. Highly trained and caring, each of us has a role to play in making this a special practice for you to visit with your pet.
Our team of highly dedicated and experienced veterinary surgeons and vet nurses are devoted to your pet's wellbeing. Your pets are always our priority. We all have our own pets and work hard to provide the same service to you that we would want for our own much-loved animals. At our surgery we provide continuity of care, working with you to provide effective and high quality treatment.
Many of our patients are receiving long term treatment and are eligible for 'repeat prescriptions'. Usually, we see these patients every six months, although for some conditions and often at the start of a new treatment, this may be more frequently. If your pet is due more of their usual medication, please contact us no less than 48-hours before you would like to collect this.
In the event of an emergency during our normal opening hours please call our surgery on 01634 718078 and you will be advised what to do next. In an emergency, please call our usual surgery number: 01634 718078 where your call can be diverted to our out of hours service. Pet Emergency Treatment Services Ltd is our preferred emergency services partner.

Don't like the idea of being outside when my dogs being examined. Could easily distance and mask up for ordinary examination

Not the cheapest but certainly the most professional vets we've been to over several decades. We're totally confident in their ability to treat our pets.

Always amazing service at Medway City vets. Every member of staff I've met from reception, to students, to vets have been so friendly and kind. They also offer a healthy pet club which cuts down SO much on vet costs. :) I wouldn't ever take my pup anywhere else.

Took our much loved cat to medway city vets. Unfortunately they couldn't do anything for him and they had to put him to sleep. They were all so kind and caring at this difficult time and today we received this card from them. We are very grateful to them and would definitely recommend them
