Meopham Veterinary Hospital
As a practice it is our mission to provide compassionate, high quality care for our patients on a continuous basis. As an RCVS certified Veterinary Hospital, our nursing staff are on site 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to care for in-patients. This means that if your pet is ever admitted to the hospital, he or she will never be alone during their stay with us.

Packed full with relevant seasonal information, case studies, staff news, offers and much more!
Services
Consultations are by appointment only to avoid excess waiting times. However, in the case of an accident or emergency, help is on hand 24 hours a day 7 days a week. We think it is best for you and your pet to try and see the same vet where possible, please feel free to ask to see a particular vet when booking an appointment.
We have designed our Pet Health Club so that you, as the pet owner, can ensure your pet receives the very best quality preventative treatments. This simple, monthly, direct debit payment covers essential treatments for your pets needs throughout its life time. Additional discounts applied if paying in full annually.
We are very proud to provide laparoscopic, (also known as 'Keyhole') surgery at The Meopham Veterinary hospital. Laparoscopic surgery is abdominal surgery performed through very small incisions in the abdomen. In human medicine laparoscopic surgery has been the routine for decades because study after study has shown that it provides huge advantages for patients.
At Meopham, Sevenoaks and Swanscombe, we use a combined vaccine providing protection against Para influenza, Leptospirosis, Distemper, Hepatitis and Parvovirus. This protocol ensures adequate protection against these serious diseases, whilst minimising the chance of any potential side effects. We also recommend vaccinating against kennel cough annually.
In some cases, these animals are lucky and can be reunited with their rightful owner since they are MICROCHIPPED! Some pets with no identification will still end up at a re-homing centre never to see their devastated owners again. Any stray animal picked up by the RSPCA, council, police, veterinary practice etc. will be scanned for a microchip.

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness
We bought our beloved dog Jasper here today, sadly he had to be put to sleep. I am so grateful for the care and attention that Jasper received, I highly recommend the vet and staff for their care, professionalism and understanding. Made a very sad and emotional time the best it could be for us and Jasper...thank you!

Lovely staff, both the receptionists I spoke to were very kind and helpful when my elderly cat suddenly became very unwell. Charlotte, the vet, has such a kind nature and is so lovely to talk to. I would recommend Meopham Veterinary Hospital to EVERYONE with any type of pet, big or small.

Have been going to Meopham Vets for 25+ years when I had a horse but now just have dogs. Today I saw Bruce who I find one of the best vets i have met. He is honest, straight to the point and very efficient. Unfortunately my French Bulldog hates the vets and is terrified but Bruce comes up with solutions to deal with her as she becomes aggressive through fear, which makes her treatment very quick and less stressful for her. Highly regarded in my and my husbands eyes, would recommend Bruce if you can get to see him although I'm sure the other vets are extremely good also.

After being seriously let down by a previous veterinary practice resulting in almost the loss of an eye in my dog, Meopham Veterinary Hospital came to the rescue and I cannot begin to thank them enough. They were extremely polite, professional and quick to act, and Jack with his knowledge and experience was able to save the eye for which I am so very grateful. Every trip I've made since has been treated with promptness and professionalism and I'm so glad both my dogs are now registered to this practice for all their health care needs. Totally recommend and well worth the journey from Gillingham

This vet seems great. The Vet that helped us vaccinate our puppy was absolutely lovely and very friendly. He gave us some great advice too. The vet itself is a hospital so a great place to sign up if you live in the area! The reason for the 4 stars is that they were half an hour late for our appointment which wasn't ideal but in terms of service they were amazing!

We have recently moved to Meopham vets from a medivet practice and the level of communication from staff is very poor in comparison. We have become one of many, and their closed door policy at the moment means worried pet parents are out of sight and out of mind so you just end up worrying more with no updates. Personally I am not impressed.

A good vets, staff efficient. It's a shame that you still cannot accompany your pet into the building. I understand the reasons behind this. Hope this ends soon.
