Helen Charteris is the best vet by far. Unfortunately she now only works here part time. Ownership changed hands recently, and the place has changed for the worse as a result. It's lost a lot of what was good about it, and is now no better than the big chains (e.g. Parkvets, Pets at Home, Jollyes). A few years ago the rating would've been 4 or even 5 stars.

Awful experiences here on 2 occasions, and good once. Took my feline Boogie after she developed sore patches on her skin. 1st male vet gave a steroid injection, said she had an allergy condition and that she'd need regular injections FOR LIFE; provided no advice on isolating root cause, even after my questioning. Took her back after it flared up a second time months later, this female vet was better. Told me she was likely allergic to flea bites and that I should use high-quality flea treatments throughout the year; no issues with her. Third time I took her because she was limping. Female vet diagnosed
