There is no better place to relax. Sitting in our garden on a summer's day with a Pimms or a long cool cordial, or cosying up by the roaring log fire in the winter, with warming drinks and a hearty meal. Walking and cycling in West Dorset provides an abundance of choice from the Jurassic Coast path, to undulating hills, stunning valleys and beautiful villages.

Park your car at Pymore and take a walk beside the River Brit or along one of the many footpaths and bridleways that abound in this beautiful corner of Dorset, before returning for a delicious meal or a refreshing drink.
Services
Originally built in the 1750s as a gentleman's residence, the Pymore Inn has been a pub for over 200 years. During the 19th century, the Pymore Inn was both the pub and village shop, serving the local community of almost 100 workers from the local mill. Full of character and history, this beautiful West Dorset inn is packed with charm and ambience.
As a free house, we offer many real ales and ciders, sourced locally and from further afield, with regularly changing guest ales. Rest assured, you'll be happy for a few hours to slip away as the log fire burns. Carefully chosen to complement the food menu, our wine list represents an excellent balance between value and quality, with a broad selection of local and international wines supplied by local independent wine merchants Morrish & Banham.
Driving: We're located just off the A3066 on the outskirts of Bridport, Dorset. As you leave Bridport on the A3066, take the first turning on the left, towards Dottery and Pymore, and then the first left again down Pymore Road towards Pymore. Walking/Cycling: From the centre of Bridport, it's a pleasant 20 minute stroll along Victoria Grove or an easy 5 minute cycle ride along cycle route 2.

Great country pub and super food. Very homely atmosphere and quality home cooked menu. With the fire too, makes a very nice winter warmer of a place.

Had a very late Sunday lunch here on 28th November. The roast beef dinner was epic, despite the lateness of the hour and the fact that there were 9 of us. Well worth a visit

Fantastic last minute lunch. Food was amazing, staff were very attentive and welcoming. It’s also dog friendly which is a huge plus for us and our puppy was made to feel very welcome by the staff even given a dog biscuit. Would definitely recommend it’s a lovely setting. Will return again.

The Location was stunning, offered great Roast dinner (vegan option too). The service was also faultless. Would recommend anyone to The Prymore Inn. If we were local we would be there every weekend!

Lovely dinner at the Pymore Inn - a couple more vegetarian options wouldn't have gone amiss but my partner thoroughly enjoyed her meal nonetheless.
The food exceeded our expectations - we just went for the nearest pub to our accommodation and were pleasantly surprised with the experience.

Great traditional pub with a fab choice of local ales. Found by accident when staying at a nearby caravan site. Enjoyed a pint of Cerne Abbos local ale. Highly recommended

Just had to visit The Pymore Inn after it being voted The Best Pub Garden in West Dorset . We were not disappointed ! It surpassed expectation and is dog friendly . We chose the RubyRed Roast Beef washed down… with locally produced beverages . A beautiful October Sunny Day ! Staff were both helpful and friendly. We shall return .

Great beer garden to quench your thirst in after a walk out of Bridport. We had the pizzas which were amazing. Only slight draw back was the lack of baby change facilities but only relevant to some so it a 5* rating over all.

Lovely place to go, was a lovely walk from where we were staying, the food looked really nice but we just had drinks which was the only thing I thought was on the expensive side. But Lovely garden with fab lights strung all around and a fire pit in the middle.
