A tad disappointed, the staff were excellent as always the food however was not upto par. The partridge starter was nigh on cold and the steak was tasty but very tough, offered another steak which frankly was not much better dry thin and overcooked not a sirloin steak. The highlight was desert which was excellent.

First class food, especially the best steak I've eaten for literally years !!!
Well done chef ,its restored my faith in British steak. The Tytherleigh Arms is an excellent place to go to and I will be rebooking for another special occasion .
Its also near where I live in Tatworth Village two miles from Chard.

I just couldn’t fault it.
Food, drink, service and accommodation are all of a very high standard. Staff are lovely and welcoming, the chef is clearly very skilled.
This is not a traditional drinking pub but rather an upmarket restaurant with rooms.
If you look at the location on Google maps you might think the proximity to a main road would make for a noisy dinner or overnight stay experience. In practice, both pub and accommodation are well sound proofed and you cannot hear the road when you’re there.
Keep doing what you’re doing, it’s great.
