The Cotley Inn has an abundance of outdoor space for you to enjoy. Our converted horse box serves sourdough base wood fired pizza in the garden in the summer months! The Cotley Inn is ideally situated for visitors to the West Country wanting a traditional country pub, as we are just a short detour off the A303.
Nestled on the Cotley estate, on the side of a hill at the foot of the Blackdown hills, you'll find the Cotley Inn buried among some of the best views around. Our relaxed pub is the perfect place for long lunches, sumptuous suppers and proper beers. Find a sunny corner on our south west facing terrace and relax with a G&T, or put your feet up next to the fire after a long walk in the woods.

Services
Originally a farmhouse, the traditional yet stylish building dates back to 17th century, and the well-loved rural Somerset pub has evolved over the years. Having lived and worked in the Canadian Rockies prior to returning to their roots on the Blackdown Hills, Ben and Maddie became inspired by North American hospitality and are delighted to be offering first-class service in this quaint village pub.
Championing beautiful food made from the finest locally sourced ingredients and seasonal produce. Meat and game from local farms, fish landed daily on the south coast and fresh herbs picked just a few steps away in the Cotley Inn kitchen garden, plus tankards of proper beers, yorkies the size of your head and all the other scoff and quaff you'd expect to find at a good village pub.
Our green room, packed with equestrian antiques and a roaring open fire, provides the perfect intimate dining experience for up to 16 guests. This space is perfect for family get-togethers filled with Sunday roasts, legs of succulent local lamb and large bottles of red. We also have a larger function room which can seat up to 35 people for a sit down meal.

I don't remember the last time I had such an amazing selection of pure goodness.
I truly believe The Cotley Inn place deserves more awards then the ones they have already achieved. Premium quality food, good wine and amazing service.
I highly recommend the Cotley Inn to people who really love food.
Thank you Maddy & Ben

Nice surroundings, recently refurbished, but we felt we were in an ex skittle alley and we weren't in the main restaurant so difficult to attract service. Also whilst they had a selection of gins they tainted them with Fevertree, when Schweppes would be more appropriate to a serious gin drinker. Main course was OK, but the pudding was ๐
