We still have some restrictions in place and we thank you for your support and understanding in continuing to keep everyone safe. If you require anything printed or worksheets to be made available, please contact your child's class teacher via Dojo, who will be able to arrange for this to be posted out to you.
The Full Governing Body meet 6 times a year to discuss the Headteacher's reports and any other business. School Governors are responsible for the management of the school. They work closely with the Headteacher and staff to ensure that the school achieves its aim of giving every child the best possible education in a happy and caring environment.
At Ladywood Primary School, we are part of 'The Art of Being Brilliant' programme, that strives to support children to develop their emotional intelligence. It aims to raise the level of happiness, confidence and resilience of every child; embedding positivity and a sense of personal responsibility into school and home life.
Pupil Premium is funding allocated to schools for a specific purpose of boosting the attainment of disadvantaged pupils. Funding is based on children who have registered for a free school meal (FSM) at any point in the last 6 years, have a parent who works in the Armed Forces or a child that has been in Social Care for more than 6 months.
The DfE have recently reinforced the need "to create and enforce a clear and rigorous expectation on all schools to promote the fundamental British Values of Democracy, The Rule of Law, Individual Liberty, Mutual Respect and Tolerance of those with different Faiths and Beliefs." The Government set out its definition of British Values in the 2011 Prevent Strategy and these values have been reiterated by the Prime Minister this year.
