Being a happy, hardworking school, all our children learn in an environment that promotes independence, creativity and enjoyment. The children always look forward to sharing their wonderful work and achievements during many special assemblies and events throughout the year. We are a proud community, providing opportunities for every child to be the best they can be!

We are proud to have a committed Governing Board that is made up of a team of individuals with a wide range of backgrounds, skills and experiences. At Draycott Community Primary School opportunities are given, through active participation in a planned, balanced programme of Physical Education. These include games, athletics, gymnastics, dance and yoga to develop positive attitudes, social skills, team work and self-confidence. PE activities are designed to be challenging and enjoyable which we hope will create a lifelong enjoyment of physical exercise.
Pupil Premium is additional funding for publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers. Each school will decide how Pupil Premium, allocated to schools per free school meal pupil, is spent, since they are best placed to assess what additional provision should be made for the individual pupils who qualify.
