The Edinburgh Hotel
The Edinburgh Inn in Station Road, Wells-next-the-sea, is a pub with tradition and friendly staff. The beer is excellent and the food wholesome, delicious and locally sourced. The extensive bar and seating area occupies half the ground floor of a very long building, the other half blending seamlessly into the restaurant seating areas, including the brand new Lifeboat Room, dedicated to the Wells Lifeboat and its team of volunteers.

The Edinburgh Inn is the best pub in which to enjoy a pint of one of the three cask beers always kept on tap. Norfolk Woodfordes Wherry and Nelsons Revenge are regulars. That's why we are the preferred pub for locals and visitors alike. Stella, Kronenbourg 1664, Carling and Fosters lagers are also served, as well as Guiness, M&B Mild, and two Ciders, also on tap.
Services
At Ollie's only the best ingredients are used; this means everything is fresh and sourced locally wherever possible. Therefore some dishes will only be available in season. Ollie's is managed by Natasha Reynolds. Telephone 01328 710120 - Call to book or email. Our fabulous new Lifeboat Room themed restaurant can seat parties up to 25. Menu alterations can be made.
The Lifeboat Room is a new addition to the Edinburgh Inn. Dedicated to the men and women who run the Lifeboat service in Wells, we celebrate today's lifeboat crew and the work they do saving lives and keeping both locals and visitors safe.

One of our dining areas is now the Lifeboat Room; decorated in the colours of the RNLI, with photographs of the boats, rescues and serving members displayed on the walls, and with information on membership and supporter donation boxes.A lifeboat token will be given to each diner to place in the Lifeboat collection box.
1830 The first lifeboat placed at Wells was of the Greathead North Country type. It came from Cromer when a new boat was received there and was provided by the Norfolk Shipwreck Association. This boat served at Wells until 1852. Eleven out of her crew of 13 were drowned, leaving 10 widows and 27 children.

Brilliant and I would highly recommend. The food was fab, large servings and very well cooked and presented. Staff friendly and even squeezed us in although we hadn’t booked, although regrettably I did see a few people being turned away. We agreed to leave our table before the booked person came which is why we got in. Best pub food I’ve had in Norfolk so far. Book to get your place. Great bar area too so plenty of room. Covid managed with signs and hand sanitizer. Also, allow furry four legged friends 🐶

Nice pub friendly. Did not get chance to try the restaurant as it was fully booked. They will also serve beer properly and remove the plastic sparkler. Enjoyed our visit.

Awful customer service, bartender was very rude, basically saying he wantted everyone to leave. My boyfriend tried making friendly conversation by saying the shops shut early don't they, he said 'yes hopefully the pubs will be shutting soon cant wait for lock down again' (!!) .. he said similar thing to the girl who walked in after us saying he hoped no more customers came tonight as he wanted to close!! (This was 8 30pm) We were going to come for dinner the next night but no chance after how rude he was! On the plus side waitress with brown hair seemed very friendly and attentive to other customers
