Had such a relaxing time here last weekend. Had a drink & booked a roast dinner for the next day which we ate in the motorhome as they were so busy, it was huge and delicious, certainly no room for dessert. Good selection of real ales and well kept. They have a small camp site and a static caravan for hire too. Looking forward to returning to try their week day menu. Advisable to ring ahead to avoid disappointment though.

Can't quite believe we haven't eaten here before! Exceptionally tasty risotto, very generous portion, and, best of all, a hot plate. One of my pet hates are lukewarm plates.......
Husband had a tasty pie, with masses of filling. We will definitely be telling all our friends about this little gem. 😊

Last minute decision to eat out, rang on the off chance but amazingly they were able to accommodate us within half an hour. A very warm welcome from the bar staff despite them being very busy. Good choice of menu & food didn’t disappoint. What stood out for me was the kindness & consideration given to us as we had a 5 week old Baby with us who decided it was bottle time just as our food arrived, I’m presuming it was the Landlord who came over & offered to keep our food warm until Baby had been fed - such a lovely thoughtful touch. We were very impressed by the whole experience and will definitely
