Come along and enjoy a traditional pub menu. Our homemade dishes are made on the premises with meat supplied by a local butcher and fresh vegetables and salads also supplied locally. Why not try our homemade Steak and Ale puff pastry pie, beef Lasagne or hot beef chilli to name but a few. Alternatively, if you just want to come along and enjoy a quiet drink or a coffee you are very welcome to do so.

I enjoyed a large meal with a friend. A positive complaint, portion sizes are to large. They don't scrimp on there potion sizes. Very good.

We went here for my birthday. There were 9 of us. The food came quickly and the staff were very friendly. We use this place quite often but usually at lunch times and not evenings. We can always rely on good value for money, but would love to see more veg than chips and peas on the menu.

Called in as we were passing on our way back to caravan site we were staying at to have a drink, had a Sunday Roast, it was lovely, staff very freindly and helpful, toilets very clean

Visited here today for the first time with my dad and husband. Booked our table in advance and had a choice of seating, which is always a very welcome bonus. . Lady behind the bar very friendly and prompt with taking orders, serving food and clearing plates. Bottled cider was a little on the expensive side ( hence the 4 star) however overall a really good experience. Food was served promptly and was very plentiful, hot and tasty. My dad had the steak and ale pie and said it was the best steak he has had in a long time. My husband loved his vegetable lasagne. Very Covid safe. Would definitely return

Fantastic food here any time of the day. Great host as well. The plates are so big and they are full of food. My Daughter had steak . My wife had lamb chops and I had fish and chips. Although we all had chips with our meals potatoes are an option.
