On a spontaneous family visit to Sheringham, after going to another pub nearby and being told they were not cooking roast dinners due to staff shortages we decided upon trying this traditional pub near the sea front.
Food was brilliant, staff were friendly and there was great atmosphere for families and dogs are also welcome! Will definitely return 😁

Traditional pub grub and ale representing good value. Dated interior but was I bothered - No!
Given covid at the time of writing, the waitresses could be more diligent with the sanitising of the dinner tables between customers as they only gave the tables a brief wipe down with a cloth with no evidence of spray or disinfectant and when visiting the hand sanitizer had run out too...
Worth a visit, even if you take your own anti-viral spray!

My wife and I was visiting Sheringham for the northern lights Christmas train ride. We decided to dine out at the crowne pub, I'm glad we did. We both had the calamari & tempera prawns with salad. I can honestly say that I have eaten in many pubs and being a retired pub landlord I would recommend the crowne pub food 100% our meal was tasty, hot and delicious.well done the crowne.👍

Nice place right on the sea front. Food was decent, Crown dog - basically a bread roll with a sausage was tasty lovely roll but sausage could have been better quality. We sat outside and while we were there a band started on the stage, personally I enjoyed it and it seemed popular amongst the other customers. There was a bit of a wait for food about 30mins, but totally understand with ping-demic and a busy lunch period. Overall good experience.

The pub itself has no car park as it has been taken up with outdoor seating. I had steak & ale pie which was very nice but the mash was dry & bland. My husband had steak which was awful. It was 50% fat & gristle & when we told the girl who had served us she just said "sorry about that" and couldn't get away fast enough. I definitely would not return again.

Visited The Crown in Sheringham on a Sunday (22/08/21) when there was live music outside, I sat inside with the family and it was relatively quiet, presumably with most of the guests outside enjoying the music. We were still entertained indoors with some brilliant 80s and 90s music videos that were playing.
There was a decent amount of food on the menu, which catered for everyone in our party. Being a pub, there was a decent selection of drinks available too.
Food was brought to our table very quickly and it was clear the food was to a high standard. Amongst our choices were double cheeseburgers
