The Black Swan is a seventeenth century country inn, tucked away, and located on the attractive village green at Horsham St Faith. Fantastic food and service for a sad occasion of the wake for my late husband. Everybody thoroughly enjoyed, even my friend who was gluten free and the homemade cakes and homemade scones were out of this world. I wish I could make cheese straws as well as you do. I've visited here twice over the last two months for get-together dinners. The food is lovely but unfortunately both times the service had been poor for me. The male bartender has been very rude both times I've visited and had a very sarcastic laugh if you bring any issues to his attention. My most recent visit was for a Christmas meal where 18 of us were eating. Several of us had missing courses although we had booked, paid deposits and chosen out meals prior to the date. We also had a server named Jade who was incredibly rude several times throughout the evening even one time getting frustrated

We had our wedding reception here. The staff were friendly and warm. We felt very welcome by all the staff. They were very good at lending a hand with anything they could and someone was always around checking if we needed anything. All of the courses came out together and all of the guests commented how lovely the food was and the portion sizes were very generous. We booked out 8 of the rooms, there was a bit of confusion with allocating rooms but that certainly wasn't the Black Swans fault and we apologise for causing confusion, it was handled very well and as far as I know us and everyone really

Our booking and card details for a twin room were lost but we were "lucky" they had a family room for which we had to pay more. Amazingly they still had our dinner reservation. Shame as the expensive fish and chips were overcooked, chips inedible and bones in the fish! Very disappointing.

Visited twice in one day, once for coffee and again, later, for a function.
A nice interior space with friendly staff, good food and drink, and a pleasant atmosphere.
An innovative sms option for ordering to the table.
Really pleased we held our function there.
Admitedly, we didn't stay in their rooms, as they were booked out, which implies to me that they are at least not bad since there's another hotel 500 meters down the road which was not full.

First visit for myself. Went with the parents and we all agreed our food was lovely, Cod and chips, Fish Finger sandwich and Pizza.
Friendly service, nice location, relaxed atmosphere. We sat outside, and were a bit warm with the sunshine heating up the covered area, but we could have sat inside where it was cooler had we wanted to move.

Excellent stay overnight. Room was clean and tidy and airy which given the heat from the weather was lovely. Sampled several cocktails which were thoroughly enjoyable and then offered a Sunday meal deal which gave us a value for money choice of main course and dessert which was of a decent size and well cooked food. Breakfast was lovely and hot with a decent choice of options. Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our time there. Thoroughly enjoyed our brief visit and would happily recommend.
