The Crown Inn
Real Ales and Home Cooked food by Scott and within nice easy reach from the popular Norfolk Broads, Norwich, Great Yarmouth, nearby market town of Stalham and the surrounding towns and villages. The pub is centrally located and set back just off the road that twists through the village. Our detached all year round Holiday Cottages are peacefully located to to the rear of the property.

There is lots of indoor and outdoor seating available and we have a separate function room for parties and business meetings which can be booked by contacting us on 01692 580128. Please note our menu is subject to change without notice so please ring first if you have specific requirements. The Crown has been serving pints since at least 1836 when George Watts was the first recorded licensee and was at that time operated by Coltishall Brewery.

Lovely staff, lovely food and a relaxed atmosphere. The Sunday Roast portion was huge and that was a medium portion. Only have the 'normal' if you don't want room for a dessert.

Only the second time we visited, first time was about 5 years ago for a drink, this time we had a great meal, 8 of us, every meal was great, and very reasonably priced, will definitely go back again next time we are in Norfolk

Lovely country pub in quiet village. Ideal for a pub lunch on a sunny day! Good range of beers etc. Plenty of parking and front and rear beer gardens with covering in the rear garden. Couldn't fault my lunchtime experience.

The garlic mushrooms starters were perfect. A meal on its own. I had steak which was very tasty. Christine had a omelette but found it not so good. In my opinion it needed fluffing up.
