After a short distance you will come to a junction for the A591 Windermere and Keswick. At this point you should see the word KESWICK made with shrubs, turn right here.
Keswick is set in magnificent scenery between Skiddaw mountain and Derwentwater lake. There is a good range of pubs, cafs, restaurants, galleries and shops within the town and several interesting attractions, such as the Puzzling Place, the Cumberland Pencil Museum.
There are two attractive parks with activities such as pitch and putt or bowls, and by Derwentwater there are rowboats for hire, or the Keswick Launch provides a water bus service around the lake.Evening entertainment can be found at the local Keswick Alhambra Cinema or at the Theatre by the Lake, and there is usually live music at one or more of the town's pubs.

Everything was just perfect. Went with 2 mates whilst doing C2C. Hosts were friendly, caring and professional. The place is immaculate and has a lovely feel to it. Breakfast was exceptional and cooked to perfection. Its a 5 minute walk to the town centre and nearby park. This couple have just got it right ! I cant recommend this place enough.

After a last minute cancellation for the campsite and not able to secure a cottage at short notice we fell upon our luck by speaking to Ben about a B&B him and his wife ran. They managed to provide 2 double rooms for us.
Wow. This place is now my equal favorite B&B in the UK.
Ben and Fiona are so lovely and enviting.
The house is spot on. All very tastefully decorated in a sympathetic modern style. You can tell a bit of thought has gone into everything.
Bed was perfect. Really firm. We had a great nights sleep.
Shower was spot on. Decent pressure and as it was electric, consistent temperature

Wonderful, family-friendly B&B. We stayed for just under two weeks and were glad of every minute of it. Ben & Fiona were fabulous hosts who made us feel completely at home. They also have huge amounts of local knowledge, which really helped us get the most from our visit. We would happily stay there again, and have been enthusiastically recommending it to friends and colleagues.

A great family run business that were superb from booking right through to checking out.
I had booked to come to Keswick in May and due to Lockdown had to postpone but I was so pleased to be able to come to Keswick and had two stunning days of walking.
Fiona and Ben were great hosts and I enjoyed the ideal blend of both healthy and hearty breakfast on both days.
I stayed in the single room which was very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious.
The whole guesthouse was clean and freshly decorated making it feel contemporary and welcoming.
I will definitely be back.
Thanks very much for

Great B&B, really enjoyed my stay. We stayed the first night coming out of Covid-19 lock down and the owners really had gone the extra mile to ensure we felt safe and could relax. Rooms are very clean, recently decorated and beds super comfy.
Breakfast was fantastic with a great selection. Wish I could have stayed longer and will be back.

I usually don't write reviews, however, will do an exception here. Absolutely superb hotel! My husband and I arrived absolutely soaked after spending the day in very rainy conditions up in the mountains. The owner welcomed us warmly and with a smile on her face. The room was neat, clean and cosy with everything we needed. We also had an amazing breakfast in the morning! We felt there just soo good! Really recommended!

Again we have returned to this lovely B&B. Warm welcome from Pat every time we come. We always have Room 5 at the top of the house. Lovely bed. Huge deep bath. Fluffy towels and the rooms always nice and warm. Breakfast well cooked and served with as much tea/coffee as you want and hot toast continually there. Would highly recommend
