We stayed for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were lovely, the facilities were nice and clean, the honesty fridge was always filled with goodies and the shop sells everything you could need. The chickens wandered freely and their eggs could be purchased from the shop. The local walks were within walking distance of the site. Play area for the kids. Noise to a minimum after 10pm,we sat out every night around the fire quietly until after 11pm and it wasn't a problem. Overall a great site and can't wait to return

A very well presented and managed quiet campsite nestled away off the village of Bassenthwaite. Cosy, modern facilities including freezer/ family wet room. Intersects with the Cumbrian way and offers the fells around Siddaw from the tent flap. Our 13 month old loved it and we felt it was family orientated and welcoming of little people. Highly recommended👌
