Services
Buttercups is a group of independent, boutique nurseries that are individually and personally managed. We have settings across West London and a unique setting within two listed buildings in Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire. With 75% of our nurseries graded 'Outstanding' by OFSTED, parents place their children in our care feeling comfortable, happy, confident and relaxed knowing they are in a secure, loving and learning environment.
We are proud that 75% of our nurseries have been awarded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted, with more than 50% achieving it on two or more occasions. We are an Ofsted Outstanding nursery on Old Oak Road near Acton, Shepherds Bush and Hammersmith. Our high standards of care, highly qualified staff and our commitment to education have made us the exceptional nursery we are today.
For children a day at Buttercups is all about fun and play, punctuated only by moments for eating and resting. You, however, will know that each experience is part of an educational programme, carefully designed for your child. So whether they are listening to a story, or out in the fresh air hunting for worms, everything is designed to give your child the best headstart possible.

Our two boys have been attending Buttercups at Chalfont Park for over a year. The youngest is in the baby room and the oldest is now in the pre school class. We are extremely happy with the level of care provided and activities they get up to. There is no better indicator of the quality of the nursery than the happiness that both children show on their way in each morning.

I normally don’t write a review however I felt it was really important to inform other parents of my experience at buttercups.
So my daughter only did four settling in sessions at buttercups when I decided that I didn’t want her to stay.
My daughter is usually a fussy eater and is lactose intolerant therefore I was quite clear when I went to visit the nursery that I told them that if she doesn’t eat anything please give her prescription milk. I even provided them with her own beaker for water/ sunscreen etc.
On collecting her on her first day on settling in- during hand over I was told

Our son has been attending this nursery since he was 9 months and we couldn't be happier with the care he has received. In each room the staff have been excellent and very informative about his development and the things he enjoys during his day. Since returning from lockdown we have noticed a huge improvement in his development and that is down to him being back with his friends and the staff providing great quality care.

We couldn't be happier thank you Buttercups. Both my children have attended this nursery and they have both been extremely happy, secure and well settled here. The facilities are lovely, the Montessori and forest school wonderful and the head of the Montessori section second to none. My son was a confident and school-ready little boy with a lovely group of little nursery friends by the time he started reception and two years on he still loves to come back to see his favourite Montessori teacher to share what he is learning at school with her. I also have every intention of leaving my daughter here

Our daughter absolutely loves Buttercups Nursery. She runs in every morning and blows kisses to the staff everyday when she leaves.
I have found the staff extremely helpful and considerate when dealing with her food allergies. We will be putting our second child on the waiting list ASAP and would recommend to anyone.

I felt like they didn't help my son at all I was concerned due to speech and language as my son was very behind but they kept telling me he's doing everything he should be doing including counting to 10 on his own and writing his name, he cannot do those things and even now he's 5 his school are even trying to get him to be able to count to 4 let alone 10 the reports for my child were not right in any way

I highly recommend Buttercups nursery. My son absolutely loves his time there (a couple of times he hasn’t wanted to come home!). There are a range of activities available every day geared towards education and learning, but they always make them fun and interactive. The staff are absolutely brilliant and all really care about each individual child’s needs. He has really come on in every way since going back to nursery after lockdown, and the staff have noticed he’s developing really well and allowing his personality to shine through. The children spend a lot of time outdoors which is great

My son has been attending Buttercups for a year now and he loves it! He has grown so much in confidence and learns so much, the staff and management team are so helpful and friendly and I couldnt be happier with the care. I feel so assured dropping him off. Excellent nursery.

My daughter has been attending this nursery since she was 8months old. The quality of education and care given to her has been outstanding. She loves all of the practitioners as well as her friend's and asks to go to nursery with excitement every day.
The staff are amazing, and are always so helpful and really go that extra mile to ensure the children are happy, and have alot of enriched activities always.
Not only is buttercups in a beautiful area, but the staff are really what makes this nursery outstanding! Not to forget the manager is also amazing!

Our daughter is now almost four and has been at Buttercups since she was one and a half. We are very happy with the way she has been looked after and has developed since being here.
At each of the three stages of the nursery, the teachers have been friendly and caring, providing good feedback on her development.
There is a good range of activities and extra classes offered. The food menus are well thought out and healthy.
I would highly recommend this nursery to other parents.
