Thank you for visiting our website and for showing an interest in our school. We believe passionately in making learning fun. We organise trips and visits across all classes and have recently updated our outdoor area to incorporate a wide range of activities for the children at play time and lunch time.
The pupils of Coppull Primary are kind, considerate and welcoming. This was noted in our most recent Ofsted inspection where we were again judged to be a 'good' school. We work closely with parents to ensure that together we provide the best possible experience for all of our pupils. Our hard-working team strive to ensure that we provide the children here with high quality teaching and learning.

I'm a Mum, Foster Carer, Children & Families Worker at Livingwaters church and Creative Director of Inspire Schools Trust. In my spare time I likes to write and am about to publish my first children's' book! I'm not new to being a governor having previously served two other Chorley schools and I've been a governor at Coppull Primary for approximately 2 years.
At Coppull Primary School and Nursery, we want to uphold and maintain high standards in all areas of school life including the presentation of our pupils. We have high aspirations for all, not just academically, but also in their attitude and presentation. For this reason, we place great importance on uniform and general appearance.
We provide our pupils with a rich, broad and balanced curriculum which meets the needs of all our children. Our teaching team have worked hard to ensure that our curriculum meets the unique needs of our school by organising stimulating trips and visitors to inspire and motivate pupils. Lessons are engaging so that we foster a life-long love of learning.
Our School Council represents the voice of the children with school. Each year voting takes place for the children in KS1 and KS2 who have campaigned to be elected to the School Council. The council meet regularly to discuss a wide variety of school issues. They feedback to classes and listen to the views of the children.
Last year, in a bid to improve reading standards in school, we launched our 'Read for the Stars' initiative in school. This was in response to class teachers noticing a steep decline in the number of children reading at home. Reading is incredibly important and it is vital to do all you can to practise reading skills at home.
