Whether you are one of our pupils, a parent or perhaps a future parent of a child in school, we know you will find lots of examples of our children's exciting and interesting learning in this website. Many of our children use this site to write, or to showcase their work in video or sound, showing a wide range of topics and subjects.

There will be a weekly spelling test every Thursday which is also when we will check the Incredible Readers cards. For people all over the UK, this lockdown is going to bring about many, many different challenges and opportunities. Parents of young children find themselves with the gift of extra time with their children, however, at the same time, having no time for themselves to recharge. To top it off, there is some expectation of the additional role of teacher and/or continuing to work.
Our exciting and vibrant curriculum stimulates life-long learning, enabling children to grow into proud and resilient young people. We believe that our school provides a stimulating environment for effective and enjoyable learning to take place. Outdoor learning is a special feature of our school. We have our own allotment and chickens!
I am married with three teenage children. We enjoy travelling and try to spend quality time together at the weekends and during the holidays. We live in the Ribble Valley. This is my second headship. Previously I was the Head teacher at Kingsfold Primary School in Penwortham, Preston for 5 years. I see Headship as a vocation rather than a job.
