We are in the Parish of St Marys and St Philip Neri and are blessed with close physical, pastoral and links to the church. St Mary's provides a warm, caring and nurturing environment in which our children can develop the full richness of their talents and potential. At Mary's your child will feel valued for their unique talents and will leave the school well prepared for later life and ready to take on new challenges.

They will leave with a sense of hope in the future and the firm faith to stand up for what is right and just. Our children can and will be a positive, loving influence in their family, their community and the wider world. We love the outdoors at St Mary's and are particularly proud of our Forest School, which builds self-confidence, teamwork, and resilience within the awe and wonder of god's natural world.
Services
So glad that you managed to find your way here, because now we can tell you even more in-depth information about St. Mary's and our links with other establishments! St. Mary's is a voluntary aided Roman Catholic Primary School committed to the education of all our children in a happy, safe and secure environment.
Jesus teaches us to love God and neighbours as ourselves. Our mission as a Catholic School is to put that into practise in the way we live, teach, learn and work together. We will show we love God by making God part of our school day: by our prayers, by our acts of worship, by listening to the Word of God, by our respect for God's creation.
The early years at home are the years in which a child learns more quickly than at any other time in his/her life. You are obviously your child's first teachers and then when your child starts in our Foundation Stage, we become partners in your child's life. Through our early years curriculum and childcare provision we strive to make a positive contribution to your child's early development and provide a foundation for lifelong learning.
Please note that children need to ensure they come to school in their a full PE kit and that earring should not be worn. If you child does need to wear earrings, please cover them with tape before they come to school. It is so important that your child is reading every day, just for 10 minutes. Little and often is much more effective.
When we come back after Easter, our Y6 children are in their final term of primary school! We have SO much fun to squeeze into this short time but we also have a lot of hard work to do too! English: To support our history topic of WWII, the children are studying 'Rose Blanche' and 'My Secret War Diary'.

Don't listen to Asli Deveraux her child was suspended and nearly expelled, but the school under Mr Heaton was great, a friendly, smart, intelligent and organised environment, however the school may change now under a new teacher but my daughter still loves it there.
