We hope you find our website useful and informative and that it gives you an insight into what our fantastic school offers. As you can see we are have a wonderful school building filled with wonderful children and staff. We welcome children from the ages of three through to the age of 11. We believe that a desire for life long learning starts with a good experience at school.

With this in mind we are dedicated to giving children positive learning experiences that promote learning. We believe that parents play a significant role in supporting their children's development and that we have a role in supporting parents. We are at the centre of our community, working together for a brighter future.
Services
Children are encouraged to come into school from 8:45am where they have a relaxed start to the school day, chatting to friends, reading a book or playing a game on one of our iPads. Registers are taken at 9am and close at 9.05am. After this time children are marked as late. Class Assemblies are held on Wednesday afternoons - parents are advised of the dates and times.
At Willow Tree we provide a before school care service for children in Reception to Y6. Breakfast Club opens at 7.45am until the start of school. The cost is 15 per week which includes breakfast and activities. Unfortunately Breakfast Club is not available to children in Nursery classes. Please contact the office for further details.
We aim to be a community where everyone is treated fairly and with respect. We want everyone to reach their potential, and we recognise that for some pupils extra support is needed to help them to achieve and be successful. We are required to publish equality information as well as equality objectives, which show how we plan to reduce or remove particular inequalities or disadvantages.
School opens at 8.45am so that your children have plenty of time to get into school calmly and get themselves ready for learning. If your child is late into school then they will always be trying to catch up with the rest of the class. 2. Parent or Carer will then wait with their child until a member of the Pastoral team - Mr Thorpe or Mrs Scholes is available to take them through to class.
The Family Support Team at Willow Tree Primary is available for all Willow Tree families. We provide a wide range of services, from drop-in advice on surviving life as a parent, to help with housing and financial concerns. The Family Support Team runs family activities like FAST Club and classroom based workshops.
