It gives me great pleasure to introduce you to Bridgewater Primary School. The website has been designed to give you information about the school in a form that we hope you will find accessible and will answer the types of questions that you as a parent will have. If you have any queries, please speak to Mrs Hill in our school office who will be happy to help you.
Services
Make a difference in children's lives; see them grow and become confident young people by opening doors to new opportunities and ensuring choice. Foster a belief in achievement built upon aspiration so that all children enjoy learning and achieve across the curriculum. Cultivate talent by giving all children access to enjoyable, exciting learning opportunities with innovative challenges and experiences.
Please observe social distancing where possible while on school grounds and leave when your child has been dropped off promptly. To help limit disruption, all late arrivals are taken to class at transition times of 9.15am and 9.30am so not to disturb current learning. All children who are late will have to wait with their parent outside the main entrance until a member of staff is available to take them to class.
At Bridgewater we are constantly striving to ensure our pupils enjoy the most positive and successful educational experience possible to enable them to be life-long learners. We have an amazing team of staff who are dedicated to ensuring that children achieve the highest standards that they can throughout their time at our school.
We take great pride in our children and our school. This is reflected in the uniform. We are delighted to now inform you that you can now order great value school uniforms in our school's colours, complete with our embroidered school emblem - and raise money for your school by ordering with myclothing.com.
The arrangements for the admission of children into the nursery and reception years are made by the admissions section in the Local Authority. Places in schools are limited by the physical space in the school. Each school has an admission number which is based on the size of the school. If the number of pupils requiring places is more than the admission number then not every child will be successful in getting a place.
