All our meals are homemade on site by our Chef Tony, he uses fresh local produce to create nutritious and well balanced meals for the Children. Dietary and Cultural requirements are catered for on an individual basis. We offer three month seasonal menus, with a three week rotation. We encourage both Parents and Children to give us feedback on the food we provide, and always welcome new ideas to add to our Menu.

As a result of this we have developed weaning menus that run alongside our seasonal menus. All babies will be at different stages of the weaning process, your key person will talk through what stage your baby is at during settle sessions.

I am the nursery Manager. I have 13 years experience within childcare and have worked between nurseries and a specialist centre for children on the Autistic Spectrum, starting as bank staff and working my way up the career ladder. I have a BA(hons) degree in Children's Care, Learning and Development.
The Jelly Babies Room is designed to suit the needs of children between 4 months and 2 years old. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) which sets the standard of learning, development and care of the children from birth to 5 years. This curriculum is reinforced in the planning of the room.
The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework states a partnership includes 'parents, families and practitioners working together to benefit children.' Leaving your child is difficult, especially at such a young age, here at Rainbow Children's Nursery Ltd we ensure your child is in a trusting environment by making sure your child feels safe when they are with us.
At Rainbow Children's Nursery Ltd we want children to feel safe and happy within our setting as well as feel secure and comfortable with staff. We also want you as parents to have confidence in both your child's wellbeing and your role as an active partner within our setting. During this session your child's key person will book their next settle sessions with you, this is two further two hour sessions.
We support the Children within our care, protect them from mistreatment and have robust procedures in place to prevent the impairment of Children's health and development. Safeguarding is a much wider subject than the elements covered within our Child protection policy, therefore Safeguarding should be used in conjunction with the other Nursery's other policies and procedures.

My husband and I decided to put our little boy into nursery to get him socialised as lockdown prevented baby groups from going ahead and it has been the best decision we have made. He settled in so quickly and has thrived there week on week. The staff there are brilliant. Incredibly welcoming, so friendly and the communication between them and us is brilliant and detailed not only with every pick up but with weekly pictures and updates about what our son has been up to and what he has learnt. Cannot praise rainbows enough and would highly recommend them to anyone. And most importantly my son loves

Absolutely love bringing my little boy here, and he loves it too! The staff are amazing with the kids, super bubbly, friendly and approachable and really throw themselves into the kids early years development. They are always happy to help and keep you updated with their daily activities and milestones! Cannot recommend this place enough!
