Services
Our nursery garden is an expansive and exciting outdoor space that leads into our magical, Forest School garden, where the natural world's miracles are just waiting to be discovered. Here, our children are in fresh, rural air and develop a shared joy and a sense of wonder about nature. In our much-loved vegetable patch, they can learn to grow, tend and harvest - and even eat the rewards if they're lucky!
The real, raw, natural environment of the forest, its trees and its wildlife provide a flip side to the often-sedentary way of modern life with its over-emphasis on screen time and the pressures that creates. The forest also, crucially, increases children's engagement in and motivation for learning.
To meet all our children's individual needs, our stimulating curriculum draws on a wide range of learning disciplines - from ones that include Sensory, Visual and Auditory components to Kinaesthetic, Musical and Naturalistic fields. Our emphasis on physical exercise, on getting outside and on making great, healthy eating choices promotes the importance of having a healthy body to our children.

This place is great! My daughter has been going to the nursery for almost 3 years now and she absolutely loves it. The staff are incredible with the children and so caring towards them. They give the children so many exciting opportunities to help their development. Would recommend Orchidale to anybody, love it!!

We recently moved to the area and needed to find a nursery for our son and we feel so lucky to have found Orchidale. It's absolutely wonderful. My son settled in instantly due to the care and attention of all the fantastic staff there. I love that the teachers follow the children's lead and nurture their individual interests and ideas. They make playdoh cupcakes, have water fights, build wooden toys, create obstacle courses and so many other things! My son has attended a few different nurseries/daycares and Orchidale is far and away the best. It's truly special and I can't recommend it highly enough

My daughter started coming to Orchidale Nursery after her second birthday, since then holly has learnt so many new skills, her speech has come on massively, also she absolutely loves coming to nursery. Its more than a home from home. she especially loves being outdoors and the opportunities are endless, more than I could ever do at home. Thanks so much for being so wonderful and giving holly the best possible start in life xx

Our little boy has been at Orchidale for almost 2 years and I honestly don’t have a bad word to say, the amount of opportunities that are provided for the children to play and learn are incredible from the wood workshop to forest school Orchidale has something for every child!
All the staff are friendly and caring and I don’t for a second worry about him being at nursery.
Orchidale goes above and beyond to create a stimulating environment which is fun and safe I cannot express in words how much I love this nursery.

Orchidale is like a second home to my child. The staff that work at this nursery are fantastic, the settling itself is so homely and welcoming. My child has recently been to the new woodland area the nursery is offering and it is wonderful. The array of activities that go on are fantastic and i could not recommend high enough. Thank you for all your hard work.

Amazing nursery, so glad I picked this nursery for my 3 year old to attend. All the staff I've spoken to have all been so friendly and energetic and have the perfect attitude towards all the children. I've only managed to have a brief look at the nursery because of Covid-19, but from what I have seen, its a really lovely nursery. My son absolutely loves going to nursery and has a great relationship with a few of the staff members, so much so, he told me that one of the staff members was his best friend! I love this nursery, and hoping to get my other little boy in once he's a bit older. Lovely

I highly recommend this nursery. My daughter has been there since she was 9 months and I can see her development each day that she comes home. The staff are responsive, professional, caring, kind, and fun. I always feel reassured when my daughter goes off to nursery that she will be having an active and fun day whilst learning and socialising to build her knowledge and confidence. The administration of the nursery is efficient and effective. I always feel that I am kept up to date and communication is always clear and helpful. My son loves attending Orchidale every week. He has become so independent and confident since he started coming here. They do so many different varied activities each week so he stays engaged and has made so many friends. The perfect nursery for anyone looking for their little ones! I would recommend to everyone!
