Mulberry Bush Day Nursery
At Mulberry Bush children learn and develop through fun, play based experiences in an environment designed around them. Mulberry Bush Day Nursery opened in Mulbarton in 2003. Our second nursery, Mulberry Bush Day Nursery at St. Edmunds, launched in Wymondham six years later. The nurseries are owned and managed by Ros and Jo, two local mums and businesswomen who have a passion for providing the best nurturing care and inspirational learning for children with over 25 years of experience in childcare and education.
Services
Our fantastically friendly nursery was established over 15 years ago to look after and educate the children of Mulbarton and surrounding villages. We have a wonderful team of Early Years practitioners with a wealth of experience in providing inspirational learning opportunities for children, a passion for nurturing care and a genuine belief in 'Our Commitments'.
Through close relationships, we nurture and support each individual, encouraging personal development and emotional resilience. We actively promote inclusion and sense of community me and celebrate every child's uniqueness. We support specific learning and development in all aspects of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
At Mulberry Bush Day Nursery we believe that every child deserves the best possible start in life. We get to know every child as an individual, building professional yet friendly relationships with the child's family in order to fully understand the knowledge and experiences that each child brings.
Children are more active, responsive and open to learning when their dietary needs are met. That is why we take this part of our service very seriously. But we also love food! And we want to encourage our children to have the same love and interest in healthy, tasty food as we do. All meals and snacks are prepared on premises which means that we know exactly what goes into every dish.
The following menu has been devised in consultation with The Voluntary Food and Drink Guidelines for Early Years Settings in England. Our youngest children are provided with suitable alternatives where appropriate, and food may be presented whole, chopped, mashed or pureed depending upon the child.
