Our wonderful children's nursery registers children from 6 months up to 5 Years and is located alongside our friendly neighbours, Thurton C o E Primary School just off the Norwich Road in Thurton, Norwich, Norfolk.

The Tiffin is run by an enthusiastic team of motivated and qualified practitioners. It is our role as nursery professionals to care and educate children with the values and skills that make them the individual personalities and people they become. We support, nurture and foster all the children in our care, providing them with opportunities to develop emotional, intellectual and physical skills in preparation for their school years ahead.
At The Tiffin Day Nursery and Pre-School our learning principles focus on four prime areas:. We support development of a creative mind by allowing children to act on their own creative ideas. Children find wonderful ways of interpreting events, situations, and scenarios. We have created an unrestricted environment, where children are able to explore their imagination by developing their ideas.
The Tiffin supports to nurture the curiosity and imagination of the young 'Enquiring and Bright Minds' who come into our care. We place children at the heart of what we do providing children with opportunities to learn and grow. Our Explore, Discover and Invent programme is designed to build on a child's natural desire to investigate and understand their own environment.
Each child who joins our nursery community is an individual and each has there own personalities and characteristics. We make every day an exciting experience but we always need to start the day with a familiar routine that we follow throughout the day that helps the children to get the best out of the Tiffin day.
All our educators are all empowered to make a difference, making the nursery environment a welcoming one every day. Our highly motivated and dedicated educators are allocated as key persons but all our educators make it their responsibilities to get to know all the children in the nursery class, making a point to record a child's progress no matter whether they are the allocated key worker or not.

Our daughter loves her time at nursery. She often asks to go on her days off and loves to tell us what she has been up to. The staff are all very caring and happy to help. They plan lovely activities to give the children the best start they can! We will be more than happy to send our baby son to join his big sister when he is a little older!

Very caring environment, with experienced professional staff that truly care about the children in their care. Our son really enjoys the fun organised activities especially messy play! He looks forward to going… to nursery and loves telling us about his day. Our son starts school this September and we are very thankful for the fantastic start in life the Tiffin has given him! Would highly recommend!
