Set in the historic Grade II listed former Westminster Library, The Cinnamon Club is an institution in the world of Indian fine dining. The original modern Indian restaurant in London, The Cinnamon Club has a long history of serving innovative and creative Indian cuisine in a magnificently majestic setting. Chef Vivek Singh and Head Chef Sankar Chandrasekaran have developed a stunning new menu that combines The Cinnamon Club's signatures with new dishes and celebratory platters.
Services
The Cinnamon Club redefined modern Indian cooking in London and continues to lead the charge with a stunning new menu of contemporary Indian cuisine. Our long-established take on game classics and delicately-spiced fish remain, along with signature dishes, tasting menus with seasonal options and celebratory sharing dishes, containing ingredients exclusive to us, which are carved and served table-side for between two and six guests.
We are thrilled to announce the fourth event in our 'A Life in Spice' series; a decadent Bijoya Feast at Cinnamon Kitchen Battersea. In India, Bijoya is celebrated as the last day of the Navratri festival, and in Bengal it's celebrated for the entire 3-week period between Dussehra and Diwali.
Join us for a unique five-course Celebration menu showcasing our favourite dishes from the last 20 years of The Cinnamon Club; from carpaccio of Shetland salmon through to mains of clove-smoked saddle of lamb, pan-seared halibut and chargrilled cauliflower.Priced at 48 per person and available throughout September.

The Cinnamon Club first opened its doors in 2001 at the historic Grade II-listed Old Westminster Library and has been redefining the expectations of Indian cooking ever since. I have always tried to liberate Indian food from its traditional shackles and pursued to craft a marriage between Indian flavours and western fine dining styles.
Thank you for choosing Cinnamon Club. We would like to hear about your experience at the restaurant. The Cinnamon Club is located in the heart of Westminster, close to both St James's Park and Westminster Tube Stations and just a stone's throw from some of London's greatest tourist attractions; The Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben and Buckingham Palace.

What a memorable evening!
My third time there now and I just love the place.
Friendly and professional staff and the setting, an old library hall, is something truly different.
Granted, if you're looking for a quiet dinner, this may not be the place for you, especially when it's busy.
The food is just sublime. Based on Indian cuisine, but with a (considerable) twist. It was truly excellent and I wish I had more ☺️
Definitely not your average Indian menu.
We had a mix of meat based and non-meat based dishes and both varieties were just outstanding.
They also have a superb wine choice

Wow. What a fantastic find. Outstanding location and setting in an old library. The food was the best Indian I have ever eaten - we shared the 20th anniversary butter chicken and it was sensational.
Drinks selection was also extensive (wine) and good variety of beer.
Staff were also highly attentive and knowledgeable.
For a special occasion, I would highly recommend the Cinnamon Club.

Top notch food at a not unreasonable price - we paid just over £200 for the 4 of us and had some starters, desserts and some cocktails. It was very quiet on the Monday lunchtime we visited so lacked atmosphere but that's not the restaurants fault. Restrooms could do with an update. Loved everything about the food 🍽️

What felt initially like an odd place to go into. An old library through and through with no signage out the front to suggest there is a lovely cocktail bar and Restaurant inside. Well, that soon changed by the time the first dish came. I share below the starters we had round the table. Paneer, fish, pigeon and chicken and wow the taste was incredible! This was only boosted when the main came and the butter chicken for two is 100% recommended and I may say one of the best butter chicken, and curry flavours I've had. My advice, order extra naan because you'll want to dip into the sauce over and

Visited this restaurant last week and was blown away by the culinary experience. I purchased the tasting menu and to say it was “good” is a vast understatement the dishes were served in good time and not a second too late, each course was just the right size and by the end of the meal I felt sufficiently filled. The staff were exceptional and welcoming and I ended up leaving them a 33% tip as I felt it was necessary and well deserved. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who has a delectable appetite for an Indian menu.

My favorite Indian restaurant on this trip to the UK! Setting is book-lined Victorian library - cozy club nice atmosphere! Great service was experienced from the funny maitre'd that welcomed us with a charming English humor to our excellent waiter! Food was of course the star attraction! Starters garlic naan with delicious curry sauce and Tandoori octopus with chutney aloo, fennel salad with tomato dressing lemon dressing. I had the Shrimp crusted coley fillet with green curry sauce and basmati rice and a side of Aloo Gobi (stir fried potato and cauliflower) to share. Hubby had Tandoori free

Visited the restaurant with my hubby to test out the late night menu. The food was really good and it wasn't crowded at all. I guess I was mostly surprised by how different their sauce taste and look like as opposed to what I am used to the kind of Indian food in US. I am used to the bright color and heavy sauced Indian food so to have similar taste but presented in a completely different way was very pleasant.
I also recommend the early or late dinner set menu. It's very reasonably priced and great for healthy eats, if there is a such thing as healthy eats in Indian cuisine :p

A modern twist on classic Indian dishes. Must try the thyme to mango cocktail, you will not be disappointed. We got the sunchokes, assorted breads and assorted chutney as appetizers and they were all delicious. Well all thoroughly enjoyed our entrees as well. I would recommend making reservations, but we did get fortunate enough to just walk in and get a table.

Located in the first library in Westminster, the club provided an excellent setting for our Christmas Eve dinner. The waitress was a little below average for a higher end place. No introduction of her name and minimal description of the food when asked for a little direction of the menu.
We ordered the okra which was delicious with a very subtle peanut sauce to compliment. The octopus was also excellent. Very tender and fresh.
I ordered the trio which came with partridge, peasant, and venison. All three were cooked to perfection. The rice was a little dry.

The Cinnamon Club is a high end fine dining Indian Restaurant. The entry is very discreet with little to no indication that it's the Cinnamon Club. The menu is simple and clean with a distinct creation of their own. I chose the 3 course ensemble for a Sunday dinner for 45 quid. The starter and main had a variety of options. The dessert had only one option, but did have options to upgrade for other desserts. Overall, the meal was exquisite and the service quick. Good spot for celebration or romantic evening.

I booked this restaurant for my client (I'm her personal assistant) and her experience was quite unpleasant.
The restaurant had their reservations for 9:30 - not booked Time of 8 PM. Until they were ready to leave and say they would never come back ---and found the booking confirmation --it was going to just be too bad. The manager apologized in an effort to make things right sent champagne. Very kind gesture.
They can do vegetarian but pretty much can't do vegan. This should be made very plain on their website ---finding out at the restaurant when ordering that they can modify/work

I'd like to start by saying that this place is gorgeous. It's a sexy dinner house located in London's first public library. Which is just cool! They pride themselves on a vast and very interesting gin menu. They also advertise a awesome gin and tonic service by a professional gin and tonic bartender... but the delivery is abut of a letdown... the lovely stuttering young man that was manning the gin cart, stuttered through the gin presentation that he was reading off a card... and he wasn't stuttering because he had a stutter, he had very obviously never served a gin and tonic

Had lunch with my husband at Cinnamon Club yesterday and was pleasantly surprised.
Ambiance is nice. I love the library in general so eating in a library was pretty fabulous.
Service is courteous but not very friendly....here's where TCC loses one star.
Food is really fantastic:
- Green pea and potato cake was the highlight of my meal. I couldn't stop eating this, and neither could my husband (I didn't want to share).
- Grilled halibut was well received by my husband. I can't comment on the taste but the portion size was quite small.
- Baked plaice sole was good. Accompanying

My husband and I were very excited about this meal and it lived up to expectations for the most part. The restaurant vibe and aesthetics were awesome. The food, also awesome. The reason I gave 4 stars was due to the service. We felt others around us were getting good service but we seemed to get less attention. It was terrible but for where my expectations were at it could have been better.
I had the sea bass and my husband had the red deer. The sea bass was super delicious w red lentils and a delicious curry sauce.
Also the bar area on the bottom floor was super cool and stylish! Definitely
