I booked here hoping for a taste sensation and the food was meh ok at best. For the price I would've expected more on the plate.
Out of a party 6 everyone agreed we wouldn't be back.
The atmosphere when you entered was good but the service seemed to be disruptive at times. Overall I was left feeling disappointed as it was my decision to go here.

Quite pricy.. much better alternatives at this price point in terms of food. Starters were good, main course very average and Desserts are too sugary and very boringly prepared and presented. At these price points, you expect lot more thoughtfulness in mixing textures and presentation. Cocktails are just about OK.. alchemist is much better at lower price points.

Our meal was very dissapointing. The chicken dish used parts of a chicken unfamiliar to us, perhaps it was chicken thigh cut in an unfamiliar way, it was not breast. Shrimp dish was okay. Separate charge for both rice and naan. For one beer, one small glass of white wine, two main dishes, water, naan and rice we paid £96.
That is alot of money for such a mediocre meal.

Great experience as usual. This restaurant is a part of the renowned Indian Taj Group of Hotels.
Offers an authentic premium taste of West Indian cuisine.
During the lockdown, there was a set menu on offer which is somewhat similar to its sister restaurant, Quilon in Westminster.
Must come shrine of Indian cuisine.

Tried the taster menu as part of our post wedding reception dinner with friends. Food was ok, but pretty much standard Indian food, not a lot of creativity put into the dishes and menu itself. For the price we paid I would expect a slightly higher level of service and consistency.
Hosts/servers were great to speak with and very accommodating.

Absolutely nothing negative to say about this joint. It came highly recommended from our neighbor who happens to be a Brit & I can see why. We chose from the set menus, one vegetarian & one non-vegetarian & loved every bite. Considering I love whiskey drinks I also ordered the Spiced Manhattan & the Smoked Old Fashioned which were quite delicious.

Beautiful setting and very good service. Tried their tasting menu. Starters were good but the mains were lack of flavours. Disappointed with the dal and the curry was lack of spices. Naan breads were the highlight but chicken was dry. Dessert was delicious. Perhaps trying their à la carte menu next time.

Based on the food this should be a five star. The problem is that even with all of the staff running around, they seem unorganized. Finished our dinner and had to get their attention after 10
Minutes to as for a dessert menu. The food though is one of the. Eat Indian I have ever had and that is saying a lot coming from Edison nj. Perfect amount of spice and tons of flavor. If you are in the area and like curry, don't miss this place.

Excellent service, amazing interior design, food was okay.
We stayed at a nearby hotel and they told us to try Bombay Brasserie for Indian food so we went. We didn't know it would be a £30 per person buffet but that was fine. When you walk in, you are wowed by the atmosphere. They really excel at presenting a luxurious environment.
Except the food was only okay. On the day we went they were serving mostly North Indian cuisine (although for dinner they serve a la carté which we would have much rather preferred) and we weren't that excited. My mom found the main dishes to all taste

Absolutely amazing restaurant, colonial style. Really reminded me of the posh restaurants in Rajasthan. Staff is impeccable and very nice. And food is great here!! Chiken tikka and spinach with cheese were my favourite but everything is delicious, also the desserts.
Reasonably priced and cheap if you choose vegetarian.
I will come back for sure!

Firstly they do take out - on Yelp it says they don't, but they were right next to our hotel so one rainy afternoon, I walked in asked them if they do take out and they happily said yes.
The ambiance is stunning. With an old world colonial feel of yesteryear Bombay gymkhanas or clubs where the sahibs ate and socialized, you're transported to a different world as soon as you walk in.
Yelpers loved their chicken biryani so of course I HAD to try it!! I asked for the chicken dum biryani and raita, so that's all I have to benchmark their food on. The biryani was mildly spiced with

BRAVO! BRAVO! BRAVO!
Dining at this restaurant was one of the best decisions we made! It was truly an outstanding dining experience from start to finish!
First of all, you can make a reservation on OpenTable UK (separate from the USA version).
Upon arrival, we were promptly greeted and seated by the hostess -- and that's where the dining experience began!
We walked through the bar/lobby and entered these double-doors that exposed a magnificent restaurant. High ceilings, chandeliers, just-right dim lighting, natural light from the sky lights, white-linen table cloth, dark wood furniture
