Services
Prior to setting up as pet sitter, I previously worked in the legal profession/insurance industry for a period of 27 years. This gave an insight into client care, however, this didn't fulfil my dream. Having owned my own dogs over the last 16 years, I know how anxious and difficult it can be to leave your pets.
Wag & Company is a registered charity enabling visiting dog teams to build meaningful relationships with older dog lovers across the North East of England who miss company and the friendship of a dog. Our professionally assessed volunteers and their dogs visit people in their own homes as well as in care and medical establishments.
We provide a Gateshead dog walking or sitting service, occasional or regular. We spend 45 minutes or 1 hour per visit with the dog/s and can customise this to the needs of the dog/s. If you work long or unusual hours, travel on holiday or find it difficult to walk your dog because of illness or injury we can help.
Gateshead Pet Sitters are vastly experienced regarding puppy care and are fully aware of the difficulties involved in the transitional period, when clients leave a puppy for the first time and go back to work. Puppies between the ages of 8-12 weeks will often require extra care and attention (including feeding, cleaning up of accidents, toilet training and general companionship).
Gateshead Dog Boarding is preferred by most dogs and their owners. At Gateshead Pet Sitters we offer boarding at our own property, where your dog will be taken into our home and cared for whilst you are away. We are fully insured, and will comply with all guidelines set by Gateshead Council with regards to care.
