We offer home boarding for dogs, a stress-free alternative to kennels. Comfortable beds and space on the sofa is available so your dog can snuggle up and feel at ease. Services
My mum bred, showed and judged toy and miniature poodles so I've always been surrounded by dogs and puppies. From a very young age, I loved dogs and learned to recognise their individual needs, traits and personalities, how to train them and above all, to achieve that special bond and mutual understanding.
Dogs love their home environment; sleeping in their own beds, eating at regular times, cuddles and individual attention. They also enjoy exciting walks and playing with their favourite toys. Some animals may cope in kennels and cages but others don't and find the experience very stressful. That's where we come in.
Cats are independent souls but taking them away from their home environment while you're away can be very stressful and disorientating. Everything is taken care of to ensure their wellbeing - a general health check, feeding, changing water, cleaning bowls, emptying litter trays and of course, plenty of cuddles and playtime.
While you are working or have other commitments during the day, it can be difficult to make sure that your dog's needs are looked after. It's unfair on your dog to expect him or her to stay in the house for hours on end without being let out or having any stimulation. Often, that's when problems occur - destructive behaviour, chewing the furniture, barking or separation anxiety.
A range of accomodation is available for guinea pigs, rats and pygmy hedgehogs - from single story cages up to two or three tier luxury hotels. For other pets such as degus, hamsters, gerbils, mice and small birds you would need to bring their cage or tank together with any specialist bedding and food.

Toni and John go above and beyond to make sure that Millie always has a fun and fabulous holiday. She is so well looked after and always excited to see her friends letting us go away safe in the knowledge that she will be treated like a princess. Exceptional 5 star service. We wouldn't use anyone else.

TynePets have been extremely flexible and helpful with our little hamsters. We had to extend their stay several times and they were more than happy to show flexibility and excellent care. TynePets also really showed that they cared about the little guys and paid attention to their behaviors and kept us updated. Many thanks - much appreciated. I will definitely be using them again.

Tynepets are fantastic. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. I have known Toni and John for over 12 years. During that time they have helped me care for my much loved house rabbits; young and old, big french lop pairs and singles and even a very elderly velvet-coated senior rex rabbit.
Over the years many of my bunnies boarded at Tynepets in South Gosforth and were extremely happy. I now have twice daily house visits for my big bunnies and I enjoy the reassurance that my rabbits are well looked after at home whilst I am away.

Tyne pets have been looking after our cats for 7 years and we are sincerely pleased with every aspect of their service. The care they provide is first rate and professional, even down to giving medication which can be difficult. Tony suggested different methods and tricks and actually found one that works! Makes our life much easier not having to struggle with the tablets.

Toni and John have walked Alfie since he was a puppy four years ago. They have been amazing and helped hugely with his training in the beginning and when his recall has had its bad patches! Reliable, safe and caring. Even on the wettest and muddiest days, Alfie was returned dried off and one happy pup! Will be a huge miss now that we are moving to New Zealand! Thank you so much! Xx

I urgently needed to arrange a cat sitter at short notice. TynePets were fantastic. I can not recommend them more highly. They really care for the pets in their charge and also managed a challenging feeding and medication routine perfectly. My cats are still playing with the cat toy Toni and co left. I would have no hesitation is recommending them. Professional and caring with really excellent knowledge of pet needs

Would recommend TynePets to anyone looking for a personalised service. They have been looking after our now olderly cat for nine years, since we got her. Toni really took time to get to know her. Two days… before our last holiday it turned out Cookie was really poorly with fluid on her lungs and Toni really took the time to listen and went out of her way to medicate Cookie twice a day. She also kept up informed while away giving us peace of mind to enjoy our holiday. Must not forget to mention she's amazing with watering my plants too!

Fantastic Cat sitting service! Tyne Pets came to the flat to see to the Cats everyday so they could remain in their own environment. The service was fantastic in that Tyne Pets took extremely good care of the Cats, where one has special medicine food and cannot have the others food at all. Not only this though, but the flat was left secured each… time they left, they spent time with the Cats and had some play. I really feel Tyne Pets cared about our little buddies and even the flat, which we found hugely satisfying and lovely. When we received the key to the flat back, there was a little
