The Cholmondeley Arms Inn
Our menu is quintessentially English and includes such truly flavoursome favourites as 'Our Traditional Pub Plate to share', 'Devilled Kidneys on toast' or for your main meal the 'Hand crafted Steak and Kidney pie' perhaps followed by Andy's Sticky Toffee Pudding! We source your food from Local Artisan Bakers, Farmers, Butchers and Cheesemakers.

All our seafood is delivered fresh on a daily basis. We welcome well behaved dogs in all areas of the pub here at the Cholmondeley Arms. The Cholmondeley Arms has been listed by the Telegraph in the top ten places to stay with your dog in four separate features over the last three years with the latest article in the travel section of their Stella magazine.
Services
Set in beautiful Cheshire countryside adjacent to Cholmondeley Castle, the Cholmondeley Arms is probably one of England's most unique pubs. It sits inside a former Victorian village schoolhouse on Lord Cholmondeley's estate. Dating back to 1862 the school was converted in 1988 and it was the first public house on the estate for over a century!
The House was converted some 8 years ago and retains the simple 'home from home' charm that the house originally had. Pictures around the house were either passed on by the old Headmasters who lived here, or from Cholmondeley Castle while others are from the old School house which is of course now the Cholmondeley Arms.
The Cholmondeley Arms - housed inside an old Victorian schoolhouse on Lord Cholmondeley's estate - is a completely unique inn for your wedding. Surrounded by stunning Cheshire countryside, a tipi or marquee wedding here can be extraordinary. With space to host up to 150 people for a sit-down wedding breakfast, you can make your country wedding as formal or informal as you please.
We are very honoured, proud and in some cases humble to have been recognised by some of the most important people and publications in our industry. We thank our entire team for working so hard to help us build our pubs and inns in to award winning places and we share all these accolades with them both past and present.
We are always looking for great people to join our team whether it be here at the Three Greyhounds Inn specifically or indeed elsewhere within our wonderful collection of pubs. We are always looking for young chefs who really want to develop with us and of course more experienced chefs who love cooking flavoursome fresh food for our guests.

What a find, recommend by a local when looking for a 'good' place for Sunday lunch. It's not good it's superb! We had the roast beef and the fish & chips with a pint of the local 'best'.

What a lovely, charming pub/restaurant/meeting place. It's a converted school with so much charm. It also has a gin distillery & lots of gin if you're a gin fan. I loved the building and could have spent many hours sitting enjoying the ambiance. I liked the look of the food on offer but didn't eat there on the day. I would love to go back and I certainly will one day soon.

A lovely award winning gin bar! Friendly staff and a great selection of drinks. The setting is also very unique, where they have converted an old school into a bar. Great vibes!

Top notch food. Rooms were fantastic. Only 4 our of 5 stars as they didn't have high chairs. Even for early eaters.

Been meaning to visit here since moving to the area just prior to covid but that put pay to eating out for a while. Finally made it across for lunch and chose from the smaller lunch menu.
The inside is brilliant, love the original wooden floor and the bar area, although we chose to sit outside.
The fish finger sandwich was a very generous portion and tasted great. Will return for an evening meal soon.

Characterful, unique pub with a Victorian ambience, but management of food and table reservations needs urgent reform. Some regulars treat their seats as thrones and reserve empty places as their own while they sit elsewhere. Cleanliness problems underneath tables with discarded food left on the floor.

A walk-in to this lovely old school house was a bonus. The staff are always attentive and helpful. We had a table inside, the menu was amazing, we chose the Sea Bass, it was huge😅 and a glass of wine from Sicily. Perfect pairing. Happy customers. Thank you Cholmondeley Arms. PS we will have to work through the 366 gins, on their list, another day😁🤣.
