The Andrews Memorial Hall is an integral part of the school and is not only used extensively by the school, but by a variety of community groups.

Andrews Memorial believes in the potential of every child; to create, to achieve, to celebrate; to make a difference. We believe in blending and balancing the traditional elements of literacy and numeracy with a stimulating, up-to-date and challenging curriculum. We recognise the potential for ICT to enhance learning across the curriculum.
For a number of years now, we have been celebrating our links with not just our local Titanic heritage, but also with our town. Comber has many historical legacies and our P6 pupils make several trips each autumn to discover an learn about them 'on the ground'. The common theme is 'memorial', as you'll see.
Hello everyone hope you have had a lovely weekend. A reminder that your purple revision books went home on Friday, please can you make sure these are returned to school if you haven't already done so. Remember to try and practise these little and often every night if you can and record them in active fun ways in your yellow spelling book, which will be coming home tonight again for you to record your spellings in.
Please finish the activity you have started in school. Monday's activity is copying out the list of spellings. Your teacher will tell you which activity to do each day. We will look at the sounds and words in class too, and then we will be ready for Friday test! You are all doing so well with your spelling homework - we are so proud of you!
The main objective of the PTA is to raise funds to purchase educational and recreational materials for the benefit of all the children at Andrews Memorial. While some of the events are geared mainly towards fund-raising, some are social occasions, when the emphasis is to provide an opportunity for parents, children and teachers to meet informally for relaxation and enjoyment.
