Welcome to The Kilcot Inn, a country pub with accommodation on the border of Gloucestershire and Herefordshire. Here at our refurbished Inn, our emphasis is on tradition. We are a family owned, independent business, striving to always offer the very best. We are proud to offer great food with our own 'twist.'
Real ales and ciders are balanced out with an interesting wine menu, focusing on quality and value. You can also enjoy a peaceful night's sleep in one of our four beautifully appointed rooms, which are a mixture of traditional oak woodwork and modern comforts. The rooms have recently been upgraded to 4* Gold by the AA.

Services
The Kilcot Inn was built in the 1690's although there has been a dwelling here since the 1530's. The Kilcot has a long and varied history but we know the building was initially built by Thomas Davis (b.1654.) It was slowly refurbished to an excellent standard by the whole Thomas family, including Mr. Thomas, a builder, and her son, who worked on the site for the whole project.
Whats's On in The Kilcot Inn! Keep up to date with all events and promotions here, make sure to check back regularly for updates. You don't want to miss out! Unfortunately, we have had to cancel the Irish night until later in the year, we will update when we have secured a new date. Please see Facebook for more detail.
The Team here at the Kilcot Inn would like to wish you a very warm welcome on your visit today. What a wonderful time we've just had at this gorgeous place! Fantastic service, excellent food, best I've had in a long time! Felt very safe as all were wearing masks and hand sanitizer by the door before entry. Will definitely be going again. We'll done to you all at the Kilcot! You're doing a fab job!

Lovely staff and very welcoming, however whilst we were leaving there were three refugees staring at us who are staying at the Hotel behind. This hotel is being used for refugees but what upsets me is that there are so many children and young adults living in our streets. How come they don't have a roof over there heads tonight?? Who's looking after them??

Had a great meal here last night. Very friendly staff who left us to chat when we arrived for just the right amount of time. Great value menu with interesting options. 5 out of 6 of us had steaks.... all very happy. We had a bit of a hiccup with a steak sauce being wrong, but the staff were really helpful and sorted it out very easily. Rum panacotta was just awesome!! Great tasty food & great value for money. I'd definitely recommend & we will be back.

A really lovely pub. We had a meal in the evening and it was delicious .All the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had an enjoyable stay . We stayed here for one night ,our room… was very nice and we had a quality breakfast in the morning. This pub is definately worth a visit and is in a good location for visiting the beautiful area.

The best pub in Gloucestershire
We regularly visit the Kilcott and have never had a less than perfect experience. Food and staff both fantastic. We frequently have friends over and go out to eat. We only ever go to the Kilcott as nothing else local compares. Family have stayed in the rooms, they are beautiful and have everything you need and more. Always recommend

The restaurant was fully booked for lunch , but they were very kind and offered us a takeaway roast dinner which was very tasty with subtle Mediterranean flavour and generous portions. Exactly what we needed having just moved into a new house and needing a good meal (couldn’t find our saucepans amongst the boxes!)

Great food and accommodation. Friendly staff, tasty dishes on the menu and with large portions they seem good value for money. There are plenty of tables that provide some privacy if you want a romantic dinner for two. They have a large car park outside, garden seating with playground for kids. The room we stayed at was in the renovated old part of the building with very low ceiling, felt cosy with comfortable bed. The bathroom was spacious with both a bath tub and walk-in shower.
