On behalf of the whole school community, welcome to Warley Primary School. We are a two-form entry primary school with a warm and welcoming family ethos. We are made up of a dedicated and talented team of teaching and support staff; happy, friendly and well-behaved children and supportive and committed parents and carers.

Our school environment is bright and exciting. We are surrounded by green open spaces and are fortunate to have a large playing field and private woodland within our designated land. We are able to offer our pupils a range of opportunities that stretch well beyond the classroom including regular Educational Visits, Woodland Welly Walks and Yoga classes.
Services
At Warley Primary School, our ethos is centred around children's happiness and well-being. We intend to provide an environment within which all the children in our school will be safe and comfortable, feel secure, happy and motivated and fulfill their potential. Children will receive the best education possible, appropriate to their individual needs.
Mrs Evans was appointed as Headteacher of Warley Primary in 2015, having previously worked as Deputy Headteacher within the school since 2007. Prior to this, Mrs Evans has taught in schools in Havering. She is an experienced teacher and has taught in years 5, 6, 1 and 2. She currently teaches in Year 1, one day a week.
At Warley Primary School, we intend to provide children with wide and varied opportunities to access an exciting and engaging curriculum, which will create a thirst for knowledge and will help them to begin to make decisions about particular areas of curiosity.

We hope that this will ignite a love for learning and this will lead to children starting to develop particular expertise or passion, which they may then want to develop at a deeper level as they continue through their education.
At Warley Primary School, the safety of our pupils and staff is our main priority at all times. All staff at Warley Primary School receive annual Safeguarding Training. We currently have 4 members of the Senior Management Team who are trained at a higher level as Designated Leads. Our SMT have also completed Female Genital Mutilation Training, Prevent Training and First-Aid Training.
Our gates open at 8.40am each morning and close at 8.55am. We operate a drop-zone system for pupils who are being driven to school. Pupils walking to school can enter through either of the two gates positioned at the front and rear of the school site. EYFS pupils make use of a gate near to their playground.
