Here at Merrylands Primary School and Nursery, we believe passionately in the importance of recognising every pupil as a unique individual. We nurture the growth of the whole child academically, socially, emotionally, morally and physically celebrating all achievement in a safe, caring and creative environment.

We believe a happy child will be a successful child and work to ensure every child enjoys school and achieves. We do this by providing the best teaching and learning experiences that we can through an exciting and engaging curriculum. As a school, we are always looking for new ways to improve and grow.
Services
Revised menu - Due to the current situation hot and cold food will still be available, but it is a reduced menu but still compliant. Parents and carers can give their views of our school at any time of the school year and at the time of a school inspection using an online questionnaire called Parent View.
The Nursery is a popular setting offering excellent facilities both inside and outside. Within the setting, we provide education and care for three and four year old children thereby giving them a strong foundation for their future learning. There are 26 places in each session. Children will be allocated 15 hours morning sessions, 15 hours afternoon sessions or 30 hours full day sessions Monday to Friday depending on funding entitlement.
Here at Merrylands we want all our parents and carers to feel able to approach our staff and to ask those questions or voice those concerns. Therefore, we actively encourage you to contact the school, as often, the situation or problem can be easily resolved and can prevent unnecessary worry. In the first instance, talk to the class teacher who is the member of staff that really knows your child and their friendship groups etc.

Viewed this primary school for my son. If it were in a more convenient location where family could help out easier with school pick ups I would have picked it as my first choice. Seemed like a excellent, we'll run school
