Services
At Lifton Community Primary School and Foundation Unit, we embrace diversity by ensuring all pupils develop an understanding and appreciation of cultures and beliefs different to their own. Lifton School is a small, rural school. It serves a wide catchment area consisting of rural households and long established local families from Devon and Cornwall.
Here you will find all of the home-learning activities set for our children during the first lockdown in class order (Wrens & Wagtails, Robins, Pine Martens, Otters, Badgers and Foxes). Maths activities - One more or less than, One more or less than worksheet, Find one more or one less challenge, Ordering to 20 cut and stick.
Our Fledglings Foundation Stage Unit is lead by qualified teachers and provides educational provision for pre-school and reception aged children. Sessions times are either 9am-12 noon, 9am-1pm or 9am-3pm term-time only. Hot lunches available if required at 2.30 per day. At Lifton School we put the children at the centre of everything we do.
Lifton Primary School is an inclusive mainstream primary school. We work hard to ensure high levels of achievement, effective learning and progress and development for all pupils regardless of any special educational need. We are committed to inclusion and to meeting the needs of each individual. We aim to provide the highest quality education for all children, using resources strategically and effectively.
