As a Catholic school, St. Dallan's is committed to providing experiences which will develop Christian values in all our pupils. The vision of St Dallan's Primary School is one where each child and staff member feels valued, respected and loved; where talents and abilities are nurtured to enable all to reach their potential, in an inclusive environment committed to our shared Christian values. St Dallan's Primary School is a place where both staff and students work in the pursuit of all aspects of spiritual, educational, inclusiveness and personal excellence.
Every school has a Board of Governors which includes parent and teacher members, members who represent the origins or owners of the school and members from the general public with an interest in education. A Board of Governors reflects a mix of ages, life skills, experiences and aspirations. Specific skills in areas such as finance, human resources, child welfare and special educational needs are valuable.
Friends of St Dallan's are the voluntary parent-run fundraising association for St Dallan's Primary School in Warrenpoint. All Parents / Guardians of St Dallan's school children are automatically members of Friends of St Dallan's. To support St Dallan's Primary School through fundraising to provide extra resources and facilities for the benefit of pupils at the school, as agreed with the school principal.
Fair Trade is all about making small changes to make a big difference to those who are growing products we use daily. At St Dallan's we believe that we can do simple things within our school to make a difference. Through our various projects, such as buns sales, St Dallan's bake off and Easter raffles, we promote Fairtrade products.
Our Digital Leader team are at the center of our digital learning in school. They are empowering pupils to be confident in their creativity and skills, exploring how to think outside the box and discover new windows of opportunity through ICT within the safety of their own school. They are helping to lead coding clubs, explore the e-safety policy, and enhancing our knowledge and use of digital technology throughout the school.
