Services
The children have settled well and have been agreeing on rules to keep the class running smoothly. After getting reacquainted with each other and getting to know their new teachers they have shown great excitement in their learning. They have loved our World Around Us topic about 'Birds, Bugs and Beasts.'
We have been very busy last week settling into our brand new modern classroom with its fantastic touchscreen board. If you want to keep up to date with what we have been doing or need information on upcoming activities and topics, please keep an eye on our class page.
We're also going to be working extremely hard on revising and memorising our multiplying and dividing by 2, 3, 4, 5 and 10 times tables over the next few weeks before moving on to the 6, 7, 8, 9, 11 and 12 tables after Halloween.Parents may find the following link to a Hit the Button game extremely useful for practising and reinforcing these facts at home Hit the Button game.

Poyntzpass P.S. is very happy to announce the beginning of a new 'Afternoon Club'. This club gives the children the opportunity to make new friends and engage in new experiences. It is led by a very experienced and enthusiastic classroom assistant, Mrs Henry. The club has been operating for a number of weeks now and all the children are having great fun!
