The current school was built in 1958. It consists of a main building, two mobile classrooms and several storage areas. Further construction work was carried out in 2018 when a new mobile was constructed for P3/4/5 and the R/P1/P2 mobile was refurbished. The school is a four teacher school with three classes.
The school has always kept up with modern teaching methods and technology. All three classrooms have interactive whiteboards and access to at least 4 computers/laptops. Our school has a proud tradition of academic success. We equally value and cherish the various opportunities we provide for our children beyond the classroom and the strong pastoral relationships throughout the school.

Services
I would like to take this opportunity to warmly welcome you to Kingsmills Primary School. We are a controlled primary school, situated in picturesque countryside, close to the village of Whitecross. We have a wide catchment area and the majority of our pupils come from the surrounding rural area. We have a main school building, two mobile classrooms and a multi-purpose hall and office.
E-safety is an integral part of children's education in todays digital world and it is embedded in their learning at school. We also want to help our parents and children to improve their own understanding of e-safety issues so they can learn to use the internet and all digital media in a safe and secure way.
The school councillors are voted for by pupils in Primary 1-7. The councillors are then responsible for organising events within the school for the fun and enjoyment of the pupils and to raise money for charities and for school equipment. Thank you to Kingsmills School Council for supplying each class with some yummy ice-cream.
