Our beautiful nursery has been present in our local community for over three decades and we are very proud and committed to providing a fun, happy and safe environment for children aged 0-5 years. Our three main rooms have been thoughtfully designed to inspire children to explore and investigate, alongside our mindful long-standing practitioners who help to ensure our children have the opportunities to reach their full potential.

At Rainbow children are given the time and space to wonder and investigate, talk and ask questions, discover, create and learn and develop authentic relationships nurturing them to become resilience, confident and independence.Over the years Rainbow has grown like "Topsy". Initially we were registered for 20 children aged 2-5 years old, we then extended and increased to 30 children.

Our calm and tranquil newly refurbished baby room is situated on the 1st floor and is a wonderful room full of textures, lights and creativity where babies are encouraged to explore and be freely creative. All our babies have access to their own secure garden where they can enjoy the fresh air. As they start finding their feet, the soft safety surfacing is the perfect place to practice their new skills.
Our Buds and Blossoms room is where friendships will be formed, confidence and independence will grow, and speech and language will be nurtured. Our newly refurbished ground floor room is in the centre of our nursery and is a hive of activity. We never set a specific age for our children to move into our Buds and Blossoms room as we are always led by our children and follow their unique learning and development patterns.
Our aim for our Rainbow Explorers room is to nurture our children to develop holistically following the Early Years Foundation Stage enabling them to develop essential life readiness skills. Our Rainbow Explorers room is held in its own large purpose-built unit (with separate entrance) attached to the main nursery with rear doors opening into one of our large gardens.
We offer a curriculum that is individual, unique and values every child's style of learning. The provision for children's development and learning is guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The EYFS has seven areas of learning which the children will be introduced to, through lovely and interesting child/adult initiated activities, approached at the appropriate level for their age group or stage of development.
