Having spent over 17 years in Education I feel very privileged to be the Director of Little Stars Nursery. On a day to day basis the children amaze and astound me with their personalities and achievements.
The online software, "Learning Journals", have now replaced our paper files to track children's development and progress throughout the nursery. Observations are linked to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) along with characteristics of effective learning. Little Stars is owned and run by Richard Kenyon (BA Hons) who is a qualified teacher with Early Years Professional Status.
Super Stars Wrap around care extends the Little Stars vision into local schools, we have teamed up with three local schools, Courthill First School, Baden Powell and Ocean Academy to provide high quality fun activities. We are committed to healthy eating at Little Stars, and all dishes offered are healthy choices.

Little Stars Day Nursery have been a magnificent platform for my daughters transition to school.

Funding is available for every child the term after they have turned 3 years old, or 2 years old if applicable.

We have been at Little Stars for around 5 years and could not recommend it more. Both of my boys have been so happy there and we are planning to send our third son there. Their communication is always excellent and all the staff are very friendly. I have been very impressed with the way the nursery has been managed during the pandemic.. Keeping the children safe but allowing their nursery life to be as normal as possible. A great nursery!
