Bay Tree Montessori

Our nursery in Poole is situated at the heart of Ashley Cross, and we offer an exceptional Montessori Education to children between 9 months and five years. We believe that the first years in school have an important impact on their lives and perspective to see the world. We want them to fall in love with education while having fun and learn to be independent.

Bay Tree is a nursery in Charminster, in Bournemouth, and has been providing a loving and nurturing Montessori environment to children since 2006. We have a beautiful garden, where children can have fun and learn to be in touch with the outside world. Our nursery is a place where children love to learn and develop, whilst making friends and having fun.

The changes that the child goes through between 0 and 6 years are never equaled. The child who joins us at the age of 2 is so different from the 4-year-old who leaves us for school. Every day sees an unfolding of the child's personality and development. We nurture that with love and understanding. It is a privilege to work with your children.

The Montessori Education approach is education for life. It sets all children on the path to their brightest future. In our nurseries in Bournemouth and Poole, we achieve this by being completely child-centered in everything we do. Through observation, considered and sensitive adults decide when it is best to teach and when it is best to stand back and allow the child to discover something themselves.

All applicants therefore must be willing to undergo effective child protection and safeguarding screening, this will include references from previous employers and an DBS check and then registered with the Update service.
